  1.

Calling you, you guys who are coming in Naples on Saturday!

I've been asked to inform you that we are all gathering for a pizza on saturday evening.

Please let me know who will go for it. Deadline: tomorrow, 4 p.m

How could I say no to pizza napoletana

Hi everybody who is going to Naples.

I just want to wish you all a wonderful time this weekend.

Hope to see lots of videos.

I hope he sings the new single at the concert!

    have fun guyssss!!!!

Enjoy yourselves as much as possible, you lucky people who'll be there! :woot_jump:

We wait for your photos, reports, videos, etc...

Marilyn, I've been thinking about the new songs too... :blush-anim-cl:

Thank you girls! I'll try to post as many updates as I can with my phone (through Twitter) and of course when we're back you'll have the full reports :wink2:

For the best videos I think you can count on the website streaming (hopefully someone will record it for all of them who can't watch it). Also, maybe Nina decided to bring her camera, eventually?

Thank you Eugenio for the pics.

Does it show I'm veeeery excited? :boing:

  2. Oh, in French, it only means "my country is superior to yours", that's why I thought Mika mixed something... :naughty:

Then I don't know why he deleted it :mf_rosetinted:

It's the same in Italian, hence my confusion. I didn't know there was such a thing as "new sexism", it doesn't make much sense to me. I didn't watch the documentary so I might be mistaken, but why would it be "new"? I agree with Christine.

  3. oh, you are right! I think he deleted it, and it might be because he used the word "chauvinism" in a non proper way :wink2:

Too bad, I had learned something from that tweet :naughty: When I read "chauvinism" I was a bit confused, as I didn't understand what it had to do with sexism. So I looked it up and I learned the meaning of "male chauvinism" (I suppose he meant this, didn't he?). I felt quite ignorant :blush-anim-cl:

  4. YES, I'm super excited too - and I hope it's the song that MIKA loved so much/ was so pleased with himself, that he just had to dance around, while listening to it!! :naughty: I hope it's a really happy and catchy song in English, something like "Love today" or "We are golden" - and that it will be a HUGE summerhit, which makes the whole world begging for his next album ...:aah::fisch:

    Love,love

    me

    :boing: Superexcitinggg

Btw, I've just watched the interview. When he's asked about doing TV next year he just says "We'll see" and then says it's been a fantastic experience, he's grateful because he could stay the same... The usual! And the interviewer says "See you next year", something like that.

I love the jacket he's wearing, and the bow tie, oh my, I'm fangirling big time, forgive me. haha :wub2:

  5. YES that's a fantastic news!! (I'm back to jumping everywhere, quite a lot of jumping for me recently) :pbjt: :pbjt: (not enough dancing bananas in my life (I should stop with brackets now))

    Hope it'll work wordwide :blush-anim-cl:

I hope so, it would be awesome if everyone could watch it. We'll wave to the cameras to say hi to you MFCers ((:thumb_yello:)) brackets, brackets everywhere :naughty:

Only 1 week to go and here's the square, pic taken on Saturday. The stage will most likely be placed between the equestrian statues. Guess it will be so hot lol Temperatures will reach 25°C, no shady areas. Couldn't it be a gig by the sea? :surfing:

Yay, good to know! The first thing I'm going to pack is a high SPF suncreen or else I'll look like a lobster the day after

  6. I think they did great, really .That was quite touching. I am definitely not a fan of Kendji but for once he surprised me ( it was about time as it was the very last song of season 3 xd)

So of course now I am torn between yay Mika won and arf, Kendji won but the good side is we should have them both on the TF1 news tomorrow.

(And for those who didn't see it yet and were wondering: he walks, dances, jumps and all (and plays with the confettis, of course), so the toes incident doesn't look that bad)

I hope so, we expect him to dance on his toes in a few days :mf_rosetinted:

I'm not enthusiastic about Kendji either. He can sing but nothing special imo. I found it very funny that when the announce was made he didn't seem to care :naughty::blink:

Apparently there's a new single coming out in June. Mika was surprised, when Nikos announced it ! but Yay !

It seemed like a gaffe, Mika was shocked :mikasweat: That would be fantastic news of course

  7. Actually, I've had two cataract operations. Both eyes were affected by the time I was in my 30s. But the ops were successful. My Tuberous Sclerosis caused it.

I do have issues with depression and anxiety. I also become very confused. This is why I find computer skills hard to obtain. My brain just goes blank.

It's also why I can't work. I tried to work in a charity shop to see how I would do, but when people would be coming to the till, one after another, I couldn't cope. I just, kind-of switched off. I did work experience in an off license (liquor store) but I asked the same person, on several occasions, for her ID, and she got annoyed with me. But of course, it was because I had forgotten her face.

I was suspected of having epilepsy for many years. But it turned out that I didn't. But my anxiety disorder does cause problems that are similar, and I can't multi task, if I try I just switch off for a while. I kind of, stare into space and can't do anything for a while, until my brain sorts itself out.

    Obviously, I can't drive.

But don't think I am unhappy. I'm not. Especially at the moment, with this thread, I really feel like I am some use. If my experiences help others, I am so pleased about being able to share my stories. I've been blessed, by God, with my good writing skills and I'm glad I can use them.

I also have my faith. I am a Christian and my faith has helped me all my life.

I also have a wonderful husband, and a son that I am deeply proud of.

I'm also a member of the best fan club, for the most wonderful star on the planet. So I think I'm very lucky.

    :huglove:

  9. Marilyn, I have just finished going through all of your posts here and I'm honestly blown away from what you've been through. I'm glad your life is a bit esasier now you've been diagnosed.

I've been very moved by your stories. Some of them are sweet and sad at the same time, like the one about your crushes... or the one about how you weren't able to recognize Mika and remember his face, but his voice has stuck to you for good. :)

I've studied neuroscience too, at med school. All in all, tuberous sclerosis has a great variability of expression, so it's good you don't have many other terrible issues that are related to this pathology, such as mental delays, seizures, kidney and eye conditions, etc. But it sucks you don't have access to the studies there.

Thank you for sharing your story, it's amazing to find out how much strength you have.

  10.

It could be because of your twitter settings, check if you see all twits, the ones you twit to someone are separate now, but they show up if you change the setting.

    What do you mean?

Nena, that's a pretty intense look, very focused, I like it :wub2:

Thank you very much Guy and Deb, I'm waiting to see the picture of the final choice :aah:

  11. Ciao, my name is Irene, I'm 25 years old and I'm Italian

I don't speak english very well

I hope to slowly integrate this wonderful forum and to share the same passion we have for Mika. :mikacool:

    :thumb_yello::wink2:

    Ciao, benvenuta!

Don't worry, here nobody will point it out to you (trust me, my English isn't very good either), MFCers are very nice :) And as long as we can understand each other, it's fine :aah:

  12. Thank you Lucrezia :huglove:

as good as it sounds that the album is "ready", i think it just means he has written the songs, maybe made demos, and has an idea of what he wants the album to be like. for recording the actual album, he has to work with producers and musicians, he has to find agreements with the record label as to which songs will go on the album and which won't - and i guess that's what he means with the compromises and dealing with showbusiness. so "ready" is a question of definition. :teehee:

just my thoughts of course, it'd be nice if the album was more ready than i expect it to be, but i'd be surprised if he had finished recording the album without "sharing the project with others". :fisch::

I agree completely. On mr. W too :naughty:

    Wow, congrats!

Your baby's destined to see many Mika gigs in the future :teehee:

I guess there won't be an organized queue... Piazza Plebiscito will be open, so I really don't know what to expect :naughty:

 Ok now you're just scaring me :naughty:
