I saw an interview of MIKA in 2015, he said that he recognises that he made a huge mistake when he didn't put promiseland into the original version of the album
I thought that he wrote it after the release of the album

people didn’t “appreciate” my voice in the UK
I've found out that jessie j takes part from a talent show as contestant
in China, because she is not satisfied and faces a lot of critics and attacks from tue UK press. That makes me think of MIKA and how he run out UK.
UK press are they always that much rude and harsh on artists
I find it sad cause jessie has a great voice and she deserves more attention

Yeah, I know what you mean... Sometimes when you pay more attention to the background you even notice new sounds in the song. Lately I watched these old track by track videos for TOOL on YT and it's really cool to hear the parts of the background music isolated.
I also like Les Baisers Perdus and J'ai Pas Envie.

BBB is great too!
Last summer during the holidays I had a BBB-Phase, I listened to both orchestral and original version all the time, I actually liked that song even before (the NPIH version, not that much the original) but I've never listened to it so much (maybe because it always takes me some time to get into french songs).
