heineken22 Posted September 1, 2008 Share Posted September 1, 2008 i went to my first mika show by myself, and it was not a good experience. especially waiting in line my friend likes panic, but not like i do. she only knows 2 songs from pretty. odd. and she stands still during shows, so i'm constantly moving her arms, or shaking her. even during the supporting acts, i have to jump around. I went to my Mika show alone....but I met up with the MFCer's there. Blehgghg...I had an experience like that when I took my friend to Gwen Stefani...it was NOT fun. The band is currently working on a concept for the video, which they plan on shooting later this month. They played 2 beatles songs; She's So Heavy and Shout. They also played a bunch from their old album, which kinda suprised me. In a good way, though. I ALMOST got to meet them; They were handing out meet and greet passes when I got there, but ran out. Oh well. I was in the front row anyhow. Brendon, Ryan, and Jon are even BETTER in real life! Spencer looked like he was kind of sick, though... And I got that video for you of Brendon playing the drums, Alex!!!! He made me giggle. xD Ryan is so....SKINNY. I didn't think he'd be that small! Dashboard was pretty cool, too. They did a cover of Pink's "I'm gonna Start A Fight" and U2's "In The Name of Love". I touched the singer of Plain White T's! Ha ha, he grabbed my hand, and then fell on the crowd, so I like grabbed his...torso so he wouldn't fall on me. All in all...it was a great show! I'm uploading my videos/pictures right now, and some of my videos are so shaky from being pushed around so much. xD The Cab was really good! Their keyboardist guy is AMAZINGLY good looking.
