Lollipop Leftie Posted November 8, 2007 Share Posted November 8, 2007 Hello, I'm new to the Mika forum, but I have been visiting and reading posts on an unofficial basis, and I've finally got parental permission to join! I first saw Mika on commercials of ABC family, and thought he seemed like a rip-off of Godspell(which can't be a bad thing, because I love godspell). I really wanted to check him out, but never got around to it. Then, my youth leaders introduced me to his music and I fell in love with it right away. Our youth group has pretty much become obsessed with Mika. We're a small but mighty bunch, and the young adults who work with us love Mika, too! We even went to his concert together! I really like Mika because he's crazy, and basically a big two-year-old, which is my favorite age group! Plus, I have "reversal orders"(which is basically dyslexia that doesn't effect me enough for the school to pay for official dyslexia testing because I've learned to compensate). I'm a very strange person and I get very verbose and wordy at times, except when I need to be... I hope I have a lot of fun on here! Godspell is the gopsel story with really fun music and people in strange clothing(braces, striped pants, etc) and Jesus had really poofy hair and from the commercials Mika looked just like him...
