Var sitter elefanten egentligen...Djurgårdsbron eller....Nybroplan... hehe på andra bilden är han ju rätt nära slussen, men på första har jag för mig att han är ganska nära nationalmuseum, eller kungsträdgården kanske . min koll på geografi är ju helt makalös! not Men är det inte strömmen man ser på första bilden? Petra Posted November 26, 2008 Share Posted November 26, 2008 Please apologise if the following doesn't sound so nice but I don't know how to term it and I've got an amazing lot of work on my table which needs to be done and I don't have the time and the will at the moment to think about everything 4 times . Ok, the following: this project started almost a year ago and, although we have tried to stay on schedule, it didn't really work (). I know that keeping him for just 5 days and then sending him (or rather them as Humphy has a travelling fish with him now) off again is not necessarily the thing everybody has the will to do (I'm not talking about "them" or "the others"- I'm talking about me as well. I'm also too lazy to put him/things for MM/stuff that needs to be posted in general in a parcel and send it off asap *shrugs* ) Anyway - Humphy got lost at least twice and at the moment he is stuck in the US (which is not a bad place to be stuck though, I guess ). The main problem is that, as it seems, some people that have been on the list since January, are now no longer interested in the project or are simply not online anymore (*blames Mika*). Everybody who has Humphy should please ensure that they are in contact with the person that is going to receive Humphy and Alfred in their home after them! I know that those people that are interested in all this and that are here KNOW this - the thing is just that some others don't reply to PMs which means that our elephant cannot be sent on. So, after all, I'm going to be the arsehole to put some people off the list - not offoff the list, just ... whatstheenglishword? Just set them back in the list in order to keep things going. Lilmot is the last one in the US at the moment to receive Humphy and then send him off to Tomomi in Japan. LadyGodiva said that she still wants to participate but that it is a bit difficult at the present time because she is fricking busy with other stuff (understandably - I wouldn't have the time to take Humphy at the moment as well *shrugs*) - but Humphy will come back to the American continent as I see it and so I would suggest to put LadyGodiva before or after ~Ana~. Any other suggestions? Jesyka has Humphy and she feels bad for having him so long - I have no idea where Queenmikamop and Buni_suit_classix are. They have neither replied to Jesyka's PMs, nor to mine. I'm aware that this could just and simply be because they are on holiday or because they haven't logged in for a while (for various reasons) or because their internet connection is bad / non-existent or whatever. But, as I said, in order to keep things going - I would for now set those two back, tell Jesyka to send Humphy to Lilmot and things could go on. Moreover, I'm going to PM each Humphyist on the list to ask whether or not they are still interested in the project. If someone doesn't want to participate anymore - may it be because everything is already taking almost a year or whatever, please please do tell me! And more thing - I know that some that had Humphy were told that they were just allowed to put a specific amount of pictures on the USB. The USB is a 2GB stick and as long as nobody is planning to put a 1GB film with our handsome elephant and his fishy friend on it, I personally don't see any problem in putting a huge amount of pictures on it. Just make sure you put them in a folder with your name and the date Humphy visited you. And POST THESE PICTURES!!! Postwhore, it's fun!!!
