The double life one I worked out was a joke but the other thread just kept going and i got bogged down reading it without ever getting to the answer. im not 100% sure but i think SD served me at big W ankers today, and i didnt even search her out i just went to the shortest line, and it was a tall skinny blonde girl called sarah and i thought "u look familiar, but im not gunna embarass us both so ill keep quiet" Hi PO, we were talking about you last night, cos I was back after being offline for over a month and I hadn't really seen you before I was so rudely severed from my lifeline, so just wanted to make sure you were still around. You could use http://www.zamzar.com/url/ Zamzar is good. You can convert flv to avi with the help of a program by ZZZ Technologies called (funnily enough) FLV to AVI converter. Free Trial here. If you try it and like it, I have something to make it a *coughfullversioncough*. And I have been ripping mp3's from YouTube by using a program called Audacity. I just record off my sound card and I can do things like fade in and fade out, and amplify the mp3 if necessary. Really handy when I find live stuff that sounds awesome. I quite enjoy it actually. More than I thought from the trial. I'm the only person in the back of the clinic, especially because they don't do surgerys on weekends, so really there is the whole surgery part of the clinic separating me from other people. I like it that way And I can make my own routine. I like making my own demented routines. I hate when people try to tell me how to make my routine, and I'm glad no one walks in while I am mid routine and sees my un-coordinated piles of stuff through the whole kennels EDIT: After reading Oakie Doke's post I have realised that this post number is the same year in which I was born! 1992.. Haha! Yay! See, the year you are born is always the most exciting one Hehe, thankyou! We haven't recorded anything. I'm not sure if we will be able to continue after this year because Jack might be going to a music school in Melbourne next year if he's able to get in. While it would be brilliant if he did get in, It would be nice if he stayed for the band. wow, I hope he can stay You should record practicing, just on a video or soemthing, I don't care, I wanna hear you I knew someone would ask me that and to be truthful, right at this moment I can't remember! I just remember that it really intrigued me when we did it at school (Year 9 if I remember which was over 20 years ago!) and then I read Michael Crichton's book "Eaters of the Dead" which is based on the Beowulf story and it was really good. I keep meaning to see "The 13th Warrior" which is based on Eaters of the Dead and then I could watch Beowulf and see how they differ. What is Beowulf then? based on a book is it? I have officially consumed all of my Easter chocolate! Ah, so now I can finally use this: (I made that on easter sunday, when I was sad that I'd already run out ) My Aunty turned up at just after 5pm with a nasty looking dog bite on her lip. She was at my cousin's house and his normally friendly Rottweiler is pregnant and about to give birth (probably having contractions) and my Aunty tried to move her off the couch and into the bedroom instead, but the dog snapped and bit her. Pretty deep bite. So my Aunty drove here in a panic and I took her into Emergency. The bite mark: It was almost all the way through her skin. She had to get 5 stitches. Ick.. another reason why I don't have dogs. Ekk! That looks horrible! Pshh, dogs are lovely. You would probably bite someone too if they tried to pick you up while you were in labour too Bailey (who is usually oblivious to all around him) has brought me a pillow, a toy, tissues, 2 stickers, a pen, some paper, a tmnt mask, transformers mask and his hooded jumper while I lie on the lounge with a blanket on me. I've decided to try very hard to make it rain near (or possibly even in) Perth. (Not Perth Scotland, that would be too easy). *visualises Australia* *moves cloud in from the ocean* *concentrates very hard* *concentrates even harder* *gets headache* Oh ... my ... god Your project was a pouring success! But you could've asked first It really was a horrible day for it to be bucketing with rain completely out of the blue. I was majorly late for my first day of work, and then I had to take all the dogs for walks in the rain (and was too scared to ask if I am even meant to walk them in the rain) and couldn't hang up any washing! THANKS! But CREEPY! And it just cmpletely cleared up at 12 and went on to be a lovely clear day after that - WEIRD WEIRD WEIRD! sorry got distracted by Mika on TV Oooh, what is/was it? I HEARD BG AGAIN In priceline, while looking at discounted easter eggs Well, I made it through the night, got somewhat caught up (haven't even ventured near the Oldlings though cos that will take me ages!), watched heaps and heaps of youtube of Mika that I'd not seen before, downloaded a lot of it to real player, which is now playing up and then got stuck in some thread about Mika and India. I got to about page 17 or something and was waiting for everyone to go "no, it really is an April Fool's joke", but that didn't happen and I cut to the last page which left me none the wiser, so can someone fill me in? i tried looking it up online and found another Mika fansite which reported he was thinking of moving there for a year!! If this is true, how come none of you saw fit to mention it last night?! Mika going Hindu and looking for an Indian influence to his second album and getting back to the whole yoga thing would seem newsworthy to me. Particularly if, as the other site said, he's gonna move there for a year. I kept reading it thinking "well this has to be a bull***t article, just for April Fool's" but most people were posting so seriously! Haha! I know, it took me ages too! So I was clicking at random pages throughout the thread and eventually found a bit where everyone was posting links to different april fools jokes and wa slike "phewph" ... but people sounded so serious that it scared me at first! Because when I read that article I was practically wetting myself, and then got soooo confused when I read the comments. I gotta go out now and buy my 13yo sister a Birthday present.. Why are teenagers so hard to buy for!! But-but .. don't you have a neice of equal or older age? I went when I was 7 though, so I don't remember it all that clearly. It was amazing though...we stayed with a couple who had a large piece of land and we planted trees for them, so we didn't have to pay board. It was this gorgeous place hidden up in the mountains. We went in August/September, though, and that's rainy season so it was pretty damn wet. Still beautiful, though. Even then, it wasn't rainy the whole time, we still had some gorgeous days. Erm...we went to Limon (sp?) which is pretty insane--think pollution....erm...ooooh, yes, for the last few days of the trip we stayed in this tiny hut that was literally on a beach. We lived off coconut, pretty much. You could just pick one up off the ground, get your dad to smash it open for you, and eat it. Coconut and rice and beans and rice and beans and more rice and more beans. We went for several hikes through the rainforest, ans saw a ton of howler monkies and a toucan but nothing much else, until on the very last day we were there we hired a guide and some machetes. All of a sudden, we were seeing all these different amazing animals--he could spot them in the darkest corners. We saw a sloth, a nest of hornets, an eyelash viper (which is very venomous and I nearly sat on it), a caiman (mini crocodile), a sh!tload of birds, walking trees (you heard me) and probably a ton of others that I have forgotten. All in all, it was pretty amazing. OooooOOOOH, and we saw a volcano erupting! Well, not like, exploding, but there was lava flowing down the sides. It was amazing. The volcano began with an A and its name eludes me. So yes. Go. It's fabulous. AWESOME! WOAH! I was just sort of so-so about it all, but ahhhh, I love crazy animals so much! That is brilliant! We do lots of hiking through the forests and stuff, inc a 3 day trip rafting into the middle of a jungle that is only accessible by raft and camping there in the middle of the jungle But those animals are ****ign awesome! SLOTHS! MONKEYS! How close did you see them? And a volcano! I'm really excited now. The people are recruiting at my friend's school next week, so I hope she agrees. I also hope she agrees to do the same project She is more of a people person so I'ms acred she might want to teach some kids english or something boring like that.
