Have decided to stay in - both daughters out, so they will need picked up at some point - thats time enough to go out - and Eilidh has pipe band tonight - just to listen, as she cant play drums with her arm in plaster. She can take her thumb out of it - and when she showed me the other night, the whole cast came off!! She put it straight back on - but it means the swelling has gone down so much its very loose now. She can takeher thumb out of it - and when she showed me the other night, the whole cast came off!! She put it straight back on - but it means the swelling has gone down so much its very loose now. They would have done it this afternoon - but as I live too far away (70 mile round trip) their department would be shut by time I got her from her friends house!! Well, she has the old plaster back on at the moment - but its not doing its job if she can move her thumb and wrist, and take it off!! She will be careful though - she does NOT want an operation as that would stop he competing in all the major Pipe Band Championships this summer.
