HE was Lady Jane's lover who became a creature of the deep and who was searching in the sea for her but never found her because she'd been eaten by the emperor. In his human state, he'd been bullied etc, and had never found love until he met Lady Jane. Then of course he lost her and was doomed to swim in the ocean as a sea-creature. So he turned against humankind, and used the weapon of his voice to lure them to their deaths. The Doctor finds out about this, and comes to investigate... and so on. I love the idea of the Tardis affecting him. Maybe he links with the Tardis somehow. I love this thread. I once wrote a story about Mika being made into a hologram on Voyager and meeting Seven, Doc and the crew. It's good to know I'm not the only Sci Fi nutcase around. Doctor and the Companion are on holidays, and they are on Haiti, 17th century. beautiful beaches, but also slave labor. they witness a scene where a rich slave owner harasses a young slave and ofc Doctor decides to put a stop to that. all three of them (the slave, the Dr and the Companion) have to run from the local authorities, and they hide in the local village.. there they hear a story about people disappearing in the night, when they go too close to the water...
