we cannot fly direcly there from Italy, can you from other countries?

I remember one had to take the train from Madrid.

Certainly not from Ireland.

I only found prices from last year.

If anyone found something else I would like to know.

Ticket prices are important for my decision! :teehee:

You can try a flight to Madrid and then take a train to Salamanca. I'm flying from Barcelona as I live close from there

This one works for me: http://www.facyl-festival.com/2012/principal/

I know it is from last year, but at least you can find some info.

As for trains: http://www.renfe.com/

I think Mika's gig is for free (not sure yet), that may be the reason why there are no tickets on sale.

thank you! :thumb_yello:

yes, I was checking flights to madrid in order to stay there from friday to monday...one needs to visit Salamanca!

Mikafans, don't make the mistake to come and go in 2 days, stay some more time and enjoy the total amaziness of that place :wub2:

so...is this confirmed?

it's been announced on Mika's fb and added to his fb event list, so I would say it is

Someone told me that the tickets go on sale on June 1, is it true?

Tickets went on sale on June the 1st last year.

This festival consists of music gigs, theatre, dance, street performances, etc.

Apparently some shows take place in theatres and tiny venues (you need tickets to enter those) and the bigger ones take place in the city's main square, for free: http://www.hhdirecto.net/evento/3808.

I thought Mika's gig would be in that square, but according to this article, found by PurpleCat, it's going to be somewhere indoors: http://www.20minutos.es/noticia/1766914/0/.

Oh... thrilling news, but I wish the place was more reachable.

of course I want to go....

But renfe still says that there are no trains from Malaga to Madrid, let alone to Salamanca :( I tried a random close date (just to check how it works) but in vain!

Girls, can you advice any low-cost flights from Malaga?

From now on I won't be able to sleep.

At first Mika´s FB attached a link to buy the tickets, and then removed it and created just an event... that makes me think it´s probably free... maybe one of those performances outdoor (which I would not appreciate, I rather have him singing in a proper and well conditioned venue even if I have to pay for a ticket).

This is not a big festival, so in case there are tickets for sale, they won´t be that expensive. Students got lower prices last year. Let´s wait for proper info.

Yep, I think it's a free gig as well, since his fb page removed the link to buy tickets... but let's wait, maybe they are not ready yet!

Anyway... in 2012, the prices were really cheap, so.. :thumb_yello:

And most likely there´ll be a second date in Spain, right??
