Le atmosfere dei film di Bollywood e la voce della popstar Mika hanno animato il Bal de la Rose 2023, la serata di gala con cui il Principato di Monaco apre la stagione delle feste. Grazia c’era e racconta qui i momenti indimenticabili di un evento che unisce stile, mondanità e beneficenza

 

È stata ancora una serata scintillante, nel segno dello stile e della beneficenza quella della 67a edizione del Bal de la Rose nel Principato di Monaco.

L’evento, ideato negli Anni 50 dalla principessa Grace Kelly come apertura della stagione delle feste, ha avuto come tema l’India di Bollywood, in un trionfo di luci e colori che hanno acceso la Salle des Étoiles dello Sporting Monte-Carlo. A fare gli onori di casa la principessa Carolina di Hannover, presidente della Fondazione Principessa Grace, a cui è stato devoluto il ricavato della serata, in abito grigio di paillettes firmato Chanel. Ad accompagnarla, il principe Alberto di Monaco, senza la moglie Charlène Wittstock, e il direttore artistico del ballo, il designer di calzature Christian Louboutin.

Molti i protagonisti dello spettacolo. Il gruppo Bassant del Rajasthan ha incantato gli 800 invitati con le coreografie bollywodiane dirette dal regista e attore Punit J. Pathak. Sul palco anche il Primo ballerino dell’Opera di Parigi Jérémy-Loup Quer, con il volto dipinto d’oro, in un assolo dal balletto La Bayadère.

Ma a scatenare i generosi partecipanti della serata ci ha pensato la popstar Mika, in Valentino, che ha eseguito il suo celebre brano Grace Kelly, canzone che segnó il suo successo nel 2007 e che ha infuocato la pista da ballo. A aprire le danze è stata la figlia di Carolina, Charlotte Casiraghi, fasciata in un abito lungo bianco con piume firmato Chanel. Con lei Beatrice Borromeo, moglie di Pierre Casiraghi, con un abito bustier nero e oro e tiara della Dior Cruise 2023. Tatiana Santo Domingo, moglie di Andrea Casiraghi, ha scelto un lungo abito con macropaillettes firmato Jenny Packham. Tutto la decorazione della sala era ispirata al Rajasthan. Le tavole erano addobbate con tovaglie in raso mentre cascate di gelsomini, rose e garofani colorati hanno fatto da cornice alle prelibatezze dell’executive chef dello Sporting Monte-Carlo, Richard Rubbini, accompagnate da champagne Perrier-Jouët. Dopo la mezzanotte Alexandra di Hannover, figlia di Carolina e Ernst di Hannover, con il fidanzato Ben-Sylvester Strautmann e Beatrice Borromeo, si è diretta all’after party al Jimmi’z Club, lo storico locale notturno proprietà del gruppo Monte Carlo Société des Bains de Mer. A ballare con loro c’erano le cantanti Shirley Bassey e Isabel Pantoja Martin ma anche Maria Annunciata del Liechtenstein, la creatrice di gioielli Noor Fares e il rampollo italiano Carlo Donà delle Rose, il più corteggiato della serata. ■

Mónaco se vistió el sábado de gala para albergar un año más el prestigioso Baile de la Rosa, organizado por el Principado e impulsado por la fundación solidaria fundada por Grace Kelly. La Salle des Étoiles del Sporting Monte-Carlo desplegó una imponente alfombra roja que abrió la anfitriona de la gala, Carolina de Mónaco (66), vestida con una espectacular túnica plateada con detalles fucsias y acompañada por sus cuatro hijos, Andrea Casiraghi, Carlota Casiraghi, Pierre Casiraghi y Alejandra de Hannover, y su hermano Alberto II.

La cantante sevillana viajó a Mónaco para asistir por primera vez al gran evento de la familia Grimaldi. Con un vestido rosa de estampado floral con dos grandes flores satinadas en el hombro y en el puño de la manga, la artista cautivó al gran salón a su llegada. Un look folclórico con un fuerte acento español firmado por Isabel Sanchís que decidió combinar con accesorios verde esmeralda.

 

Emocionada por conocer a la princesa de Hannover y tras su entrada triunfal en la alfombra roja, la cantante de Así fue o Marinero de luces , que este año cumple 50 años sobre los escenarios, disfrutó de la pista de baile al son de algunos de los clásicos más famosos de Bollywood e incluso llegó a cantar a capela con la artista británica Shirley Bassey. “Un sueño y un honor haberte conocido Shirley, ¡eres una diva!”, escribió más tarde en su cuenta oficial de Instagram junto a un vídeo de ambas disfrutando de la mágica noche.

 

La gran ausente de la exclusiva y lujosa fiesta de Mónaco volvió a ser Charlene de Mónaco. La princesa consorte, que no asiste a este acontecimiento desde el 2014, no acompañó a su marido, aunque sí lo hizo el viernes en un acto mediático después de enviar un comunicado en el que desmentía los rumores de separación.

 

El evento contó con actuaciones musicales y bailes que narraron la historia de una joven india llamada Bella invitada a participar por primera vez.
