Shezzy12 Posted April 14, 2007 Share Posted April 14, 2007 I was watching this interview! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w1gHPpa4M0I&mode=related&search= When he was saying about when people call him strange:thumbdown: coz he sings about gay men and fat women... and then he goes he doesnt understand hollywood [ Gooo MIKA ] and he think hip hop etc is strange coz they have girls wearing mini skirts and stiletos in the snow coming out of porsches and feraris! and he goes " do you see that" I was like SOOOO TRUE!! I mean im gonna admit I have listened to hip hop etc and i did like a few of the songs although i honestly did find the whole hip hop etc very strange but hes totally right! Its strange! He totally sings about REAL things! He doesnt sing about unrealistic things... to be honest guys I was a very confused person .... [ before mika ] I had friends who were soo devoted to one singer or band Like a few devoted to hiphop singers A few devoted to Rock singers I mean i had gone through the phase when you do listen to hiphop! && i did and then i cudnt get used to it.... I then moved over to ROCK.. like AFI or Mychem or Lostprophets etc They were much better than hiphop and i thought that i cud understand it.....etc But ever since ive heard Life in cartoon motion! The first tym i heard Grace kelly I knew it! The song was ME... I think MIKA has gave us an identity He's certernly gave me an identity! Mirtilla Posted April 14, 2007 Share Posted April 14, 2007 i totally agree! i did like few hip hop songs too, but soon they sounded almost the same to me, but when MIKA came up he has brought the real pop back to life! he sings about real things, which really happens! and he tells these stories in a universal language but in his own particular way, which is absolutely new, if you know what i mean..
