Anyone ever had baklava?

we had multicultural week at school and i tried it, i love the honey and nuts. great stuff.

 

 

 

but um I don't think it's lebanese. I remember my indian friend said it was something else, I forget what.

I'm Turkish Cypriot and we have it a lot there too, i'm pretty sure its Turkish, but i can't be hundred percent sure because so many different countries have claimed it, like Turkish Coffee !!!

It's been one of my fav desserts since I discovered it a few years ago....

It's delicious!

And even though it's a sweet, somehow it feels 'wholesome' and not like junk, if you know what I mean.

mmmm "kenefe" I love it, yesterday I've eaten some...& I am 100% sure it's lebanese.....& I think too that baklava is Lebanese, at least those I buy & eat in France & in Lebanon ...but there is many ways to make them:bleh:the lebanese, the armenian, the turkish one ...anyway, Lebanon has been a part of the Othmans Kingdom (??) for 500 years...so...
