Grazie Mika.
  3. Yeah I had noticed that but I was wondering why. I mean, there are Queen fans for sure in the MFC, and yeah it would be great if you could update the numbers
  6. Can I be added pls?🙋 I'm a huge Queen fan (completely insane I guess) I'm going to a Queen+Adam Lambert gig in Novembre btw 😍
  7. Well, there are several. But if I have to choose, I'll choose three. The first one is Hurts: when I listen to this song I always feel like I have a friend by my side telling me that everything's alright, no matter what people say. Then there is Last Party, which is about my other hero Freddie Mercury and his legendary three-days party. To me Freddie has been the incarnation of courage, a really amazing man. Then the last song is Origin Of Love. It reminds me what love is and how to deal with it. It also taught me to erase any prejudice about people's sexuality and I'll be forever grateful to Mika for this.
  8. I definitely agree with you: I've watched every single season of The Voice France from Italy even when Mika was not coach in order to learn French. The truth is that The Voice is a talent show, so people get to know Mika as a coach and not as a singer. It was a good idea to do it, but I agree with his decision to take a break (as he's done with X Factor Italia). Maybe he will have more time to do shows and promos with the upcoming album... Who knows. Still in our countries he is rather well known and there are awsome communities, so I feel very lucky indeed.
  9. Well hi everyone. I'm from Italy and of course I noticed (as everbybody else did) that Mika's career is now focusing mainly in my country. I really appreciate that as he does many gigs and events here but I would also like if he could gain in popularity in the other countries. I don't want him to become a worldwide popstar like Adele or Ed Sheeran (let's make it clear: I really like them). From my point of view he is different from all the other singers around: he is not part of the great sensations of the moment and on the other hand we can easily see that he is known almost everywhere, only because of LICM. I think he should invest something to give the US, Canada and the UK another try. He is well known in France, Italy and Pacific Asia, so if he succeded in the US, Canada and the UK his career would take off once again. I really hope he has plans to do it, but if the price is losing his unique features... He shouldn't do that in my opinion.
A volte ci fanno ridere. A volte ci fanno piangere come stupidi. A volte ci accarezzano come il vento. A volte ci fanno male. I sorrisi. Le mani. Le parole sono un ponte. Un vecchio ponte pericolante, in mezzo a un bosco. Il ponte è lì da tanto tempo. Io sono qui. Tu sei dall'altra parte. E camminiamo. Piano piano, uno verso l'altro. Con le parole. Un po'armati. Un po'indifesi. E ci incontriamo. *English (translation)* My language is music. I fought with words. I was at war with them. Especially as a child, because I was dyslexic. The letters ran everywhere. And I could not put them together. That's why I know how important words are. Words are our way of knowing. And of getting known. They create dialogues. They form stories. They make people meet. They make them fall in love with each other. They make them hate each other. Words make wars begin. But words make peace return as well. They are our exchange goods with the others. Our currency. Sometimes they make us laugh. Sometimes they make us cry like stupid people. Sometimes they caress us as the wind does. Sometimes they hurt us. Words as kind as a flower or as heavy as a punch in the face. We must be very careful with words. They are powerful. Really powerful. We must use them carefully. Choose them one by one. And when we do not have words, because we speak different languages, or because we do not speak, there are gestures. Smiles. Hands. Words are like a bridge. An old bridge in the deep of a wood. The bridge has been there for a long time. I am here. You are on the other side. And we slowly walk towards each other. A little bit armed. A little bit defenceless. And we meet. I tried to work out a decent translation, but it is such a good speech that it's been very difficult to make it sound well. If there are mistakes please tell me. Thanks❤
  11. I'll be in Florence too!
  12. Hi! I'm Italian too. I'm from Florence, Tuscany. I've been a Mikafan since... Well, it's quite hard to explain. I've always listened to Happy Ending. But I was too young to know something about the singer. Then one day I turned on the TV on a random channel. There was Xf8. I've been immediately enchanted by this curly-haired, tall, smiling man. Then he got up. And sang Happy Ending a cappella. And... I understood I would never forget that guy.
  13. Well,I went to Pistoia on the 5th July. I was very close to the stage and it was definitely the best day of my life. It was really unbelievable. I could see him smiling. He smiled at me. Now I'm dreaming of meeting him and talking to him. I guess I'm still in post-concert depression.
