  1. Who is Brian May?? My husband, of course. Haha, I wish. Well, if I was born a few years earlier and grew up in England, then yes! Thanks for the picture! I hadn't seen this one before!
  2. My greatest fear is actually the ocean, I completely understand Mika in this respect! It's just so incredibly deep and there could be anything under the water's mirror-like surface... It's so deep and.. Oh goodness. Even typing this is making my stomach do somersaults in a bad way. I am also quite scared of Gollum.
  3. I do adore your expressions. Have you ever read the "Confessions of Georgia Nicolson" series by Louise Rennison? You remind me of Georgia in those books. Just the expressions. And they are funny! That post of yours looks like it should be in Webster's Dictionary. SUBMIT SUBMIT!
  4. Yeah, and he's quick, too. This thread was started but two days ago! (Well, two days over here...) Haha, if I were a celebrity I would totally creep my own fan forum!! It would be such a natural high! Gotta add that to the list.
  5. Ah! I can put a face to the name! Thanks, guys!
  6. His laces are untied... Living dangerously, are we?
  7. Wow! Sounds awesome! Lucky you! What does Mika's mother look like? I've never seen her..
  8. He's got a great sense of humour! Makes me chuckle..
  9. You are kidding me. I find that very LOL-worthy (wow, good word.) that he reads the forums so religiously. Hope he liked my multiply-sourced post! BECAUSE HERE COMES ANOTHER ONE! Was it not Roger Daltrey that said that "the chemistry in a band is very spiritual." About losing Keith Moon, he said, "it's worse than losing a part of your family" and refers to that spiritual chemistry again. Something truly amazing about being in a band, obviously!
  10. You got it as a separate song? I did not get it as a separate song on iTunes.. Lucky! In fact, if I hadn't had the CD I wouldn't have known it existed!
  11. I had a dream once that I was walking to Millet (a small town like a half hour drive from where I live) and I stumbled upon some construction gear and a shack. I was tired and thirsty, because I had been walking for quite a while, so I stopped in the shack and it was this restaurant-type thing. I think it had a stage... In any case, somehow I bumped into Mika and we chatted and then after we had finished eating he offered to give me a ride to Millet. On his bulldozer. So him, Martin and I all got on this bulldozer and it drove us to my destination (yes, it was driving itself!) and I woke up! That's the only dream I've had and remembered!
  12. They sure as heck do! And lollipops of course! We didn't stop for treats, though. We just jetted right to the front row. Thank goodness he threw lollipops (or tossed them, rather, since they are a little heavy and would hurt if thrown hard) else I wouldn't have gotten one!
  13. I know! It's like I have a disease! I MUST HAVE THINGS THAT ARE FREE!!! Anyways, regarding the modelling thing, didn't he say that he was the opposite? He said he is always followed in fancy stores because he wears big trenchcoats and people think he'll steal something... I thought that was funny!
  14. YAYQUEENFAN!!! </queenfangirl> Yeah, and Freddie also "flirted" with Roger too.. (Recall Sheer Heart Attack from the We Will Rock You Concert in Montreal I think in 1982, and Live at Milton Keynes in '82 several times with Brian and Roger, and several other concerts that I won't name because the list would be too long). And also who can forget Robert Plant and Jimmy Page! They shared mics thousands of times. And The Beatles did too, yes? It was all on stage. The more I think about it, the more I think it could be associated to be the onstage performer bug in him. If anyone's been on stage before, you know that it gives you a different feeling, like this freedom, because it's not real.. You're just entertaining. Sure, I don't deny there's chemistry between Martin and Mika, but it's not just them either! If anyone caught him on Leno a couple of weeks ago, he also sort of "flirts" with his bassist (can't remember his name for the life of me at the moment... Sorry!) ANYWAYS, CASE IN POINT, it could be either way. Although I do wish he sang more to us than to Martin. We were a bit jealous at the time...
  15. Ah, the perks of being famous. I looove free things! One time I got some anti-prostate cancer pills just because they were free. Yes, my house is cluttered. Mika seems like the kind of guy that would buy something blah and turn it completely around and make it his own! Like that jacket in the banner [points up]. I love it, and it looks unique. Maybe he made it himself before he got famous? I would like to think so.
  16. I've got curly hair and let me tell you, it is a monster most times! Without the right de-frizzing stuff, it looks like the fuzzy side of velcro. Not pretty at all. And I totally sympathize, Mirtella (sorry if I spelled it wrong!), I actually don't comb my hair ever except while I'm washing it. It looks like absolute crap otherwise! I like his jacket in the first picture! He's got the most amazing jackets. I wonder if he buys them at thrift stores or pays a ridiculous sum of money for them...
  17. I would... Order my food. Then maybe chat a little bit! It's the perfect opportunity to talk to him without others pressing him for pictures and autographs or rushing him to interviews and soundchecks. I imagine he'd be a good waiter - he seems friendly! And smiley. Or maybe some customers would see him as weird. But I like those kinds of waiters!
  18. Oh my goodness, that is so funny! I just love awkward misunderstandings! THEY MAKE THE WORLD GO ROUND! LOLZ! But in all seriousness it was an amazing show. I adore intimate gigs such as these, I feel like I'm a part of them! And the whole licorice, lollipops, balloons and clowns was awesome! I was like living inside my head outside! The concert will forever be a happy, happy memory.
  19. OHEMGEE FIELDTRIP YAY. I would love to go to the UK (pronounced Yook for fun!!) but am taking a Spring course during that time. Dang. And plus, it would be slightly odd following him and meeting him after every show... Perhaps if you were casually strolling on the streets of London and he happened to be strolling down the same street in the opposite direction. Or something.
  20. I think that's funny that he reads this! I wonder if he's weirded out by all the fangirling that goes on around here... I totally understand, though, I creep people constantly. (Op! Is she joking?) Good for him. Good for him. Good FOR him! Where is he Thursday again? Ah yes, New York, is it? (I just read your location..)
  21. AHAHA Holy Screencaps, Batman!!
  22. Yay! Mos def! I met the most amazing people! I had such a great time, it was way worth the trip!
  23. Wonderful pics, Lovely Lana! I wish I could have come one day earlier... Stupid Chemistry Tuesdays.
  24. Where did you see me? In line? You should've said hi!
