Serendipity....I'm about an hour west of Philly....in the boonies in Amish country. Were you at the Philly show?

GOOD ON YOU HOLLY!!! I've been emailing stations here for months. Not every day, but a few times a month....sent them all the good reviews of his concerts here in the US, too.

As much as I'd love to keep seeing the boy in small venues here, I want him to be successful, make tons of money, and spread the Mika-joy all over the US.

Those little homemade movies of the Sylvanian familes are just TOO CUTE. Love them. Wonder if the boy has seen them?

Here's an interesting article about how hard it is to break into the US market. I added a comment about Mika....It seems to me as if there is something weird about Mika not being played on US radio, given as popular as he is here--he's gotten a very warm reception from fans at his concerts, and they are full. What is going on, then?

HO LEE COW. I LOVE Sylvanian families!!!!! I bought a ton of them for my little girl, she doesn't play with them but I do! I keep asking her if she wants more, and she's ambivalent, and I get disappointed because I want to buy more! Mika....sweet....so cool. I feel so sympatico with him.

Ohhhh....I'm so relieved that he and Macca got along there....I've loved Paul since I was 4 years old. sigh...

I was attracted to Mika precisely because he reminded me of Freddie. I love Queen. I do see the connection. I think he's his own person, he's different, but I enjoy him in the same way I enjoy Freddie.

There's a lot worse to be compared to.

Well...I'm a member of the "I don't care" club....so I really don't care if he is or isn't. But perhaps there is nothing to report, so Perezzers just doesn't have anything to say.

Perez does have three levels of treatment for people.

1. He hates you and makes fun of you and denigrates you every chance he gets. ie. Rumer Willis

2. He likes you and he makes fun of you, but also says good things about you. ie. Joan Rivers

3. He loves you, you are a buddy and nothing but good comes from him concerning you. ie. Mika.

I disagree that his music has "touchy" themes. Yes, BB might be a little touchy....but only a little. Think of all the other "mainstream" artists who are so much more flagrant with sexual and violent lyrics--and no one gives them a second thought.

I think Mika's problem here in the US is that his music is happy and celebratory. That just doesn't seem to be 'in'.
