  1. Sorry, I don't know any hotels there...I've never been to The Electric Factory before, and I'm not familiar with the area.

I'm SO looking forward to seeing all of you from the DC concert and making new Mikamaniac friends, too. And, of course, seeing MIKA himself again. Everyone needs to have flashing hearts...if you don't have 'em....get em!

I'm planning on bringing my eldest daughter with me. She's 17.

  2. I've been waiting to hear Mika here for ages. My husband heard him on the radio once--Grace Kelly. A few of my daughter's friends liked Grace Kelly, but didn't really know who Mika was.

But everyone who knows me knows who Mika is!!!

I know Deb is right, it would be good not to have to see him in huge stadiums/venues...but I really would love the US to be in on Mika Mania. I'd love to see him on billboards, his music all over the place. I'm just so glad I stopped to look at a People magazine in the grocery store one day and saw this young man whom the article said could sing like Freddie.

Since then it's been nothing but love and joy!

  3. Mika most definitely has a way with people. I noticed that when I met him. He talks to YOU, it's very personal...just like he remembered that journalist's name. He is magic to talk to....soft spoken, smart, talented, down to earth. Very...sigh....charismatic.

    Great article, thanks Titania!

  4. ...I'll come there this august!!!

    Maybe I can met Pamette:biggrin2:

I'm devoted of St. Michael, head of angelic militia...

And this is a name I adore, also for the great meaning, that sounds like a rhetoric question:

    "מִיכָאֵל / מיכאל"

    "Who's like God?"

I'm also devoted to St. Michael. He is God's warrior against the devil! I wish I could see Mont St. Michael.

So Mika has St. Michael for a patron saint. :)

  5. I felt wonderful for a few days after. But I confess the instant he told me he was sick I thought, "Am *I* going to get *MIKA'S* cold!" hahahaha.... With me I think it was just endorphins. But that was a tightly packed crowd. Although in our little corner, I had a big man behind me to kind of keep the people back and he was awesome at doing that. So maybe I was spared.

    Spitting like a camel...hee hee....

Cowbell skit....hee hee.... (that skit is so funny...love that...)

  6. What great photos! My heart breaks when I think of all the great shots I could have gotten in DC but they were so strict with the cameras. I don't know WHY they were. I was so close and all I dared was just a few. But I could have gotten some really lovely ones. Lissy managed though! :)
