Thanks for posting this Deb!! It's great! I can't wait to find out what happens. He far and away deserves at least one award. I think the Brits are smart enough to know that... I hope!!!!! I know it!!! Every interview he does is so interesting. It's never the "same old" (unless the interviewer has no creativity that is lol)

I loved this Char!! Thanks for sharing it. It is one of his best reviews (except for the wig thing lol) I think, in that it captures the magic and euphoria that is hearing Mika! I love this: "He was the single most charismatic performer I have ever had the pleasure of watching. With infinite energy and an innate ability to bestow an inexplicable glee to his audience, watching Mika was like riding a roller coaster through a candy store on Christmas morning." and for the moment you're stuck in your own reality, however hellish or content it may be... EXACTLY!!! That was why I cried right after I left the concert, I was so sad that I had to go back to reality. I have a renewed happiness in my own reality so that helps but that was the tough part at first. Argh that would have been so hard to put all that effort and time into that book and not have him sign it then. That would be a huge let down. You know he LOVED it!!! It is sooooo very cool to be here on the MFC where people actually understand!!

Too true - it is so worth it too feel soo happy and euphoric for that period of time!!! Yeah, thinking about it today was crazy, because you know time is just going to keep moving on so fast, and I don't want the experience to become a distant memory! But.. at least I have the memory and the time flying, I guess, means he will be here again soon. (NOT soon enough!!)

Oh crap! You have to overnight it?? Do you need help working on it? I would love to help out if you need it. And I don't want to see you put all that $$ into overnighting it yourself!

Thanks for the reviews everyone! Lilmot - you guys look so cute in the t-shirts you made! (Did you make them?) Oops! I just re-read your post - you are behind those girls in the t-shirt, looking so nice in your skirt and pretty shoes! No wonder your feet hurt! But I know what you mean too about all the aches, etc. melting away for a while when Mika is on stage!!

I'm so glad that lots are participating! This book will be great!! Mika definitely deserves a thank you. He puts so much into putting on an amazing show for us all!

I know- it does kind of all seem like just a dream! But in a way, it was life changing for me. I have a yucky chronic illness and feel really crappy all the time. Sometimes, it gets really old and makes me just want to go to bed and stop trying to live as normal a life as possible. You wonder if it is all really worth it. I have things that keep me going and I try to be the best mom I can for my son, etc. but you know, it is just those times when you feel so sick of trying everything and nothing helps, and you're in physical pain constantly, etc. But since the SLC Mika gig, I have really felt lifted up. Mika is so fully engaged in what he is doing and in life. He is living his dream and that makes me want to live my dreams and really engage in life! He is so passionate about what he does and he does it so well. He brings such life and emotion to his music. I think that is why it is so fulfilling for so many of us. And then, there's just him, the person. He is a great person and is kind to people, cares about his family, and has such a rich personality and personable, sweet way about him. It's just nice to know there are people out there like that. So, in a way, I am experiencing the PMD, but I am also still on a high!

Ooo when is your next adventure Laura?? I'm glad you are coming over to the dark side It wasn't me who sent that pic in, you can count on that! lol I know! I was thinking the same thing! Last week at this time, we were warming up at the big heater waiting for our moment with Mika. I miss you all too.
