I think that's what this site is all about - chatting! There is lots of Mika love going around. I think most of the threads, including the one you mentioned should be opened for chatting. Why not? The pictures are on the first page, so if someone wants to see them, feel free to look there. I do think the news and report threads should be less chatting so we can all find the "meat" there, but other than that, I think we should all be free to chat. That's why this is such a great site and people want to come back for more.

I know - I am soooo sick of it!! It was starting to get nice there and the sun was shining, melting all the ugly grey snow on the sides of the roads and then ... it snows again! I hope Spring comes early this year! Why do you get to go to Cali??

Oh - my brother lives in Redlands but I have no idea if that is near there. I lived in Yorba Linda for a while. It was so nice. 1/2 hour from the beach plus I had a 2 year old and was 20 min. from Disneyland. But most of all I loved the weather!

Ugh I lived in Southern California for 2 years and I thought people were insane to live in Utah when I came back to visit family. Now I live here again! Snow is fun ---for a few DAYS!! Now, I am ready for it to be GONE!

Hmitts - It is sad how sometimes we need to talk about things that are hurting us but no one wants to listen to that kind of stuff. Of course no one wants to spend time down in the dumps, but sometimes you need help getting out. I'm glad you have a great stepmother now. That would be really hard to have a mother treat you horribly. It sounds like you are dealing well with that. Chinkalicious - That is definitely not weird that you miss your dog. Pets are so unconditionally loving and there for you. There's just nothing like them and we become so attached. Like Hilary, I also believe you will see your loved ones again. I even think dogs will be there when we die.
