  1. I was just listening to Ring Ring... And now I want to call the french fry shack "Dangerous Obsession" Don't know how appetizing of a name that is, though.
  2. The art shop just got claimed by I think, Eir over in the Residents thread. Maybe you two could be business partners and discuss shop titles?
  3. Do we have a name for such a place? Or would it simply be the French Fry Shack?
  4. That is, indeed, a valid point! Where would we get the art supplies with which to make Mika art for putting in the museum! Without it, up would be down, left would be right, black would be white, chaos would ensue! In other words, I've added your stationary shop to my list. And all Mikaville shall rejoice. Oh, and I think the disco was part of Club Relax? Or maybe I thought it was when really it was a seperate idea...
  5. So most people agree we should call the bakery Délices du Liban instead, then?
  6. There is a bookstore and a bakery in place already, though the titles are kind of tentative, so if you've got an idea for them you like better, feel free to voice it. I compiled the list of ideas discussed by everyone so far and posted it over the in the Mikaville Planning thread, but I think I'll post here for good measure, too, so we're all on the same page. Street names discussed in both the Planning and Residential threads: Love Love Lane Lollipop Lane Big Girl Lane Chew-Chew Avenue Grace Kelly Avenue Happy Endings Circle Billy Brown Boulevard Kerchinga Close (Street?) Identity Mad Way I Don't Care Estates Sunset Avenue Sunny Day Avenue- dedicated to the shops. Chocolate Flow Avenue Treat Lane Little Bit of Heaven Square Braces Lane Holy Johnny Road Interpretation Avenue Curly Hair Boulevard __________________ Recreational sites: __________________ Museo: The museum of Mika art, with live entertainment from none other than Mika himself. Pool Party: The Amusement Park Extravaganza, with flumes, pools, waterslides, and bumperboats galore. Everything is Mika-themed, with people in costumes and games. Royal Sympathy Arena: A venue for Mika and Mika fan-approved bands that come to town. MikaSquare Gardens: A big garden area (with trees and flowers and animals) with a big screen tv in the middle and speakers, where it would only be on Channel love mika. It would also double as an outside cinema. Loverboy Lake: It flows from the Emerald Forest, all the way to the village and is one of the most romantic places in all Mikaville. Violet Sky Park: A playground with monkey bars, swingsets, slides, and sandboxes. ___________________ Government/learning sites: ___________________ Mika School: Where all basic degrees to prepare yourself to live in the wonderful Mikaville are earned. Food service and entertainment: Club Relax: Home of the famous Butterfly Bar Girls. Pointlessly Delicious (I love this name): A sumptuous restaurant, serving only the most divine food. Java: The internet cafe. TEAse me: The delectable little tea shop. Chocoloco: The fantabulous, incomparable, beauteous, most chocolatey chocolate factory in the history of chocolate making. Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory: The very thing that makes Chocolate Flow Avenue possible. Homemade Sugar Pie: A regular lollipop, candies, bakery, and marshmellow jamboree! Pick Me: Grocery store. Always has fresh fruit. Travel: Mika International Airport (supports Cartoon Motion Airlines) Mika himself will live on #1 Love Love Lane, though what kind of a home he has, I'm not sure they've decided yet. If there's something you'd like to change or some shop you want to add or find employment at or a street you want to live on, 1kiwiabroad and Kavi are the founders of the Mikaville project and I usually differ to them myself.
  7. I've got all the new street names on my list (if you want to see the whole list before I got ahold of these names, check the other Mikaville thread) Gracekelly76, what would you name your teddy bear shop? Also, there seems to be a lot of Big Girl titled things... Big Girl Street, Big Girl Boulevard, and Big Girl Lane. Big Girl Lane was the first founded one... Would everyone be just as happy living on one Big Girl themed street, or do we need the other ones?
  8. Thank you, but these aren't my ideas alone. I've only named a couple of the things personally, the rest I've been collecting from the ideas submitted in both Mikaville threads and keeping them sorted for the planners' convienence.
  9. I know I posted this a couple pages back, but having added things and wanting to keep them straight, I give you the updated Mikaville Planning List. Street names discussed in both the Planning and Residential threads: Love Love Lane Lollipop Lane Big Girl Lane Chew-Chew Avenue Grace Kelly Avenue Happy Endings Circle Billy Brown Boulevard Identity Mad Way I Don't Care Estates Sunny Day Avenue- dedicated to the shops. __________________ Recreational sites: __________________ Museo: The museum of Mika art, with live entertainment from none other than Mika himself. Pool Party: The Amusement Park Extravaganza, with flumes, pools, waterslides, and bumperboats galore. Everything is Mika-themed, with people in costumes and games aplenty. Royal Sympathy Arena: A venue for Mika and Mika fan-approved bands that come to town. MikaSquare Gardens: A big garden area (with trees and flowers and animals) with a big screen tv in the middle and speakers, where it would only be on Channel love mika. Homemade Sugar Pie: A regular lollipop, candies, bakery, and marshmellow jamboree! Pick Me: Grocery store. Always has fresh fruit. Travel: Mika International Airport (supports Cartoon Motion Airlines) The general opinion seems to be that Mika lives in a brightly colored castle on #1 Love Love Lane, and it should be around the center or overlooking the town. Guess that's all up to Kiwi and Kavi, or Mika himself, though.
  10. God, I wish. The closest one for me would be in Miami on what, the seventeenth was it? And I know I can't go to that one- it breaks my heart, because that's his only visit to Florida that I've seen dated on his tour and I was hoping I could go since my birthday is soon after... I would love to get that to him, but it's not possible. If you want to just use the street names we've got already, then do you want me to eliminate the industrial names part from my list and add Sunny Day to the other one? Or just keep everything the way it is?
  11. I added the other stuff to my list... And if you and Kiwia want, Kavi, I'd be happy to continue to keep everything together and organized. I think we've got most of our basic shops and everything now and what we're mainly missing are street names for the industry to put on the theoretical map. We also need a name for town hall. Any ideas? It's really quite amazing, isn't it? In just a day or two, we can create an entire universe of existence all on our own, painted full of brilliant colors and joy. It sometimes really makes me think that, if enough people use their imagination and passion to really try, we can get the world we live in now to be a much more radiant place. It'd be nice.
  12. Residential names, discussed some in both here and the Residents thread: Love Love Lane Lollipop Lane Big Girl Lane Chew-Chew Avenue Grace Kelly Avenue Happy Endings Circle Billy Brown Boulevard Identity Mad Way I Don't Care Estates Mikaville recreational sites: Loverboy Lake (It runs right from the Emerald Forest all the way to Mikaville!) Violet Sky Park ___________________ Industrial area names thus far: Sunny Day Avenue- dedicated to the clothing shops. I assume Tailor Me and EmBrace Yourself are on there. Titled Businesses: EmBrace Yourself: Professional suspender/braces tailors Club Relax: Home of the famous Butterfly Bar Girls. Toys R' Mika: Speaks for itself. Has an awesome selection of tamagochi's. Java: The internet cafe. MikaDiva: CDs, posters, recording studio and so much more! Big Curls (You Are Beautiful): Salon Mika International (With daily flights to Mexico) I'm sure I'm missing some shops there... Correct me if you see a mistake. Places that still need names: The lollipop/chocolate/marshmellow bakery shop(s) The bookstore (it probably sells a lot of Mikationaries and Jane Austen books) The museum A concert venue (I was wondering maybe, the Royal Sympathy Arena?) Some kind of grocery store or market And whatever else you can think of! I'm starting to see why Mika might've had so much fun inventing his world.
  13. Since we've got residential area names cooking over in the MikaVille Residents thread, what would our industrial area names be that we'd actually put things like EmBrace Yourself or MikaDiva on? And, as was just mentioned in the other MikaVille thread, there should be an airport. LICM Airport was one name given, my opinion is Mika International, supporting Cartoon Motion Airlines... But I'm happy with any name or idea about it people want to come up with.
  14. LICM, as in, the abbrieviated way? Or as in something like Cartoon Motion Airlines? Eitherway, it would have daily flights to the coast of mexico.
  15. I hope no one's forgotten there needs to be a bookshop. For all the Jane Austen readers, y'know?
  16. So there's Lollipop Lane, Big Girl Lane, Happy Endings Circle, Love Love Lane, Grace Kelly Avenue... I vote there be a Loverboy Lake, an Identity Mad Way, and Violet Sky park, and maybe a Take It Easy Street... or an I Don't Care Estates...
  17. Yeah, come to think of it, that'd be pretty amusing. Who happens to be a good artist for these things?
  18. I'll move there. I think there's a spot on #16 Happy Ending Circle- you know, the place on the left a few streets down from Identity Mad Way? It's got a great view of Loverboy Lake. And I think I'll get a job as an alternative psycho therapist.
  19. I think he looks most natural in white or other bright colors. They compliment the open vivacity of his personality.

    Pets

... a cat saved a mouse? How unusual.

    Pets

Right now, I just have my dog. She's a basset hound/chow-chow mix. And since I have no pictures to show, I'll just paint a verbal portrait. A bandy medium dog with sleek, thick dark fur, a super curly tail, the hound-dog face and puppy eyes, floppy ears, and a purple-spotted tongue. I've had her for nine years now, and it's so hard to think of not having her around, even though I can see her muzzle starting to grey. In the past, I've owned... Six guinea pigs (When I bought my first guinea pig, I had no idea she was pregnant), ten dogs (my first dog when I was a kid, and the dog I have now had two litters of puppies), three bunnies (I miss my bunnies), a mouse, a chicken, and a turkey. I seem to have the kind of luck where my pets just... Spawn. Of all of the animals I've had, I think I miss my first dog, Jasper, who was a chow-chow/corgi mix and my mouse, Checkers, the most.

    Waking up

Really? I'm a total morning person. I wake up at six every single day, with no alarm clock usually- I hate sleeping in, it makes me feel icky and like I wasted part of my day. And the first thing that came to my mind today were the lyrics from Lollipop. Things that could help him get out of bed... I assume you mean pleasantly, because even though ice water works, it's just not nice. How about an alluring breakfast? The smell of breakfast always got my brothers up...
  23. No, can't say that I have. Do you practice a martial art?
  24. "Mikadepression - the feeling you have because you know you have a snowball's chance in hell of seeing/meeting Mika." It's dreadful.
  25. Yes. I didn't used to, because I had nearly drowned when I was little. One of my brothers was supposed to be watching me when we were at the pool and he kind of forgot... In any case, I decided to conquer that fear. Do you like to draw?
