  1. Oh yes. Yes I do. Do you listen to Billy Joel?

    Ciyaaaa^^

Good to meet you. Make yourself comfortable, have a good time. The more, the merrier.
  3. Yes. And Alexander Dumas wrote the Three Musketeers, The Count of Monte Cristo, and the Man in the Iron Mask, among other things. Do you like oranges?
  4. No. I'd rather be blue. Do you read Alexander Dumas' books?
  5. Nope. It is Florida and all... Do you like breakfast more than dinner?
  6. That's all very true, yes, and I thought about it... But so as not to spoil the fun, I was working under the assumption there'd be a taste-tester at food presentation to make sure everything's alright. Nothing wrong with dreaming, y'know? Though, the taste-tester would have to like Mika an awful lot to try stranger food. And oh, look. Fifty posts. I never thought I'd ever have fifty posts on a fan forum before...
  7. Yes. Do you like Weird Al?
  8. Yes. Do you like sunsets more than sunrises?
  9. Mm, I love baking. It's been a hobby since I was seven... My neighbor hurt himself on the job, and the first thing I ever baked was a cake to make him feel better. I'd love to do something like that, if I could ever get to a concert. A stack of different cakes in the shape of different letters that spell Love Today or something in tie-dye pattern icing... That's a lot of cake, though, isn't it?
  10. No. I won't get to see Mika on this tour. I'm so very sad. But, there are some other good bands coming up. Maybe I'll get to go see some of those. Do you like the ocean?
  11. It's scary, but true. I joined only a couple days back and the first thing I did when I got home today... was log in to the forum and listen to Relax, Take It Easy. Welcome to the club.
  12. My Interpretation - It's a well-thought view on a relationship that's so obviously done with. Grace Kelly - A resplendent celebration of being yourself. It's inspirational. Lollipop - Snappy beat, entertaining lyrics with their own meaning to them. Intoxicated - I've known people that make me feel like this song. Somehow, it's always a comfort (to me) to hear something that expresses what's inside of you.
  13. Not especially, but it's better than where I grew up. Is music influential to you?
  14. Yes. More emphatically than I think was necessary... Do you have a major goal?

    Wake up call

That's a great way to wake up. I usually just wake up to the sunrise, and the first thing I see when I open my eyes is a whorl of pink, blue, and orangeness in the sky. Though two weeks ago, I was driving and I forgot my i-Pod, and had no CDs in the car when I really, really wanted to hear a Mika song... And I turned on the radio just in time to hear, "I wanna talk to you" starting off Grace Kelly. I let out a terrific cheer, and the windows were open... I got a really disturbed look from the guy in the car on the other side of me...
  16. Opening Credits: Lollipop - Mika. Heh. Waking up: Allentown - Billy Joel. First Day at School: Immigrant Song - Led Zeppelin. (Is this question even allowed for me? I was homeschooled my whole life... Well, more like mostly self taught. So I never had a first day at school, exactly.) Falling in Love: Miss You in a Heartbeat - Def Leppard. Aww, how sweet. Losing Virginity: Tear it Up - Queen. Erh. Well. That promises to be interesting. Still have my virginity as it is. Fight Song: Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen. Yay. Break Up: Love Bites - Def Leppard. Wow. Prom: Stand Up (Kick Love Into Motion) - Def Leppard. That'd be sweet too, if I'd ever had a prom. Life: These Are the Days of Our Lives - Queen. It's really picking them pretty good. It's kind of scary. Mental Breakdown: Tears in Heaven - Eric Clapton. All I can say, is that is one of three songs fitting that for me. REALLY scary. Driving: The Other Side - Aerosmith. Flashback: D'Yer Mak'er - Led Zeppelin. Getting Back Together: 20th Century Boy - T. Rex, version is Def Leppard's. Wedding: And So it Goes - Billy Joel. I love that song... It's neat that came up. Birth of Child: Lullabye (Goodnight My Angel) - Billy Joel. Appropriate, though maybe I should've shuffled more to see if I could've gotten more random artists. Final Battle: Welcome to the Jungle - Guns n' Roses. Death Scene: In My Life - The Beatles. Go figure. Credits: Hot Blooded - Foreigner. Sequel Teaser: The Show Must Go On - Queen. I like it.
  17. The best vocalist and performer ever. I only wish I could've seen him live and in person myself. The first Queen song I remember hearing was Spread Your Wings... I can't really pick a favorite, though. They're all wonderful. I've never heard a singer that has the same passion Freddie Mercury had.
  18. Personality. It's a little odd, really... I used to kind of wonder a little what I would really go for, until I started developing an interest in a guy who I originally felt nothing about. Then I began to notice that I liked his sense of humor, kindness, how he converses... It was only after that I found physical aspects about him that were attractive. So yes, all in all, it would have to be personality. Appearance only counts for so much, it can't really keep me hooked like a winning presentation of individuality does. My question is, though... What physical things could a person have that makes them attractive to you? Like, would it be how they laugh, or smile, or move... Things like that.

    Hello.

Thanks. And, as far as any running away is concerned, it's too late for me now. I'm already entangled in this world of Mika- and I'm not the least bit sorry.

    Hello.

Given that I'm new, I suppose I'll start here. A little about me and where I heard of Mika. I love music. It has purity of expression and endless elbow room for imagination, so a song created can be anything from the most tender depth of the soul, to the most superficial and bawdily entertaining, presented in wonderfully diverse colors of the writer's mood and personality. No matter who you are, there's sure to be a song that fits your heart perfectly. I play piano, and I'm working on drums. Martial arts are another favorite passtime. I read a lot of classic literature. I'd have to say that in general, a lot of my interests in music lean more toward the rock or oldies side- but that's not to say I don't listen to other things. My favored bands/artists would be Nat King Cole, Journey, Kiss, Billy Joel, and especially, Def Leppard and (my all-time, irreplaceable favorite) Queen... Which is actually how I came to learn about Mika and his music, a swiftly becoming new favorite. I was looking up Brian May's website and saw how people were comparing him to Freddie Mercury. Skeptical like I am, I checked out some of his music thinking, "We'll see about that." I was hoping he wouldn't be a Mercury imitator, even though taking inspiration from others isn't necessarily a bad thing. I wasn't disappointed. I could see a little why people compared him, but I still felt that Mika is a true and singular artist in his own right and that there wasn't really anyone he is quite like in style, voice, or songwriting. Therefor, I figure he must be himself. And that's always a good thing. There's why I'm a fan, and intend to stay one.
