Yeah, i was kinda surprised. This one day i came home my Mika singles and the album were gone from my shelf and i found out that mom had taken them to check them out. She loved it, the drawings and the characters so she decided to do this. she also likes his music alot.

Yeah, i'm very happy about it And i didn't even come up with the idea!

I already have tickets to see that show...and also the one on the 19th! :wub2: I CAN'T WAIT!! it's "only" 79 days!

Hey there! :biggrin2: I was wondering if anybody could help me out a little, so here's the thing My mom is an art teacher and for next week she has decided to do a lecture for few classes on Mika & Yasmine's artwork and stories behind their characters and such. She wants me to help her writing it and tell her about it cause, obviously, i know more about it then she does. I know the story behind Lollipop girl, Billy Brown and some things about their work, but what is missing is that i need pictures. I'm the worst searcher (is that a real word) and i haven't found good quality pictures of they're work. And that's where you come in If any of you have pictures of they're drawings, from the art exhibition, albums (although she is bringing in some of my singles and album to show) or just whatever i (and she) would be VERY thankful. I remember there also was a thread here while ago with pictures from the exhibition that included some of their work still in progress. I was looking for it but didn't find it, so if you have those pics it would be wonderful! Oh, and if you have any "funfacts" on they're art or any information (doesn't matter if i know it already) i would really appreciate that. I'm so glad mom is doing this. She's so excited, she's gonna wear my Mika hoodie (the one from mikasounds.com) to the class. And just this moment i was telling her that i was writing this thread and she got all excited Thank you!!

LOL! My mom's a little like this, she likes Mika very much. She sings his songs quite often and i have been woken up by it. lol! She's an art teacher and she's doing a lecture on Mika & Yasmine's art work and how they make the singles & albums and all the art work around it. She's bringing in my cd and single to show the students. She just called me yesterday to tell me this (i'm living with my sister in another town) and this weekend she wants me to come and tell her everything i know about the subject. I'm so excited!! :biggrin2:

I agree with you. I like Mika for his talent and music. When i started listening to Mika at first i had no idea what he looked like. I got shocked (in a good way) when i saw him for the first time cause i pictured him a lot more different. Ofcourse he's gorgeous, but i don't like him just for that. His look is so uniqe and as you're saying he has an amazing head-turning (lol) charisma. His looks have never been the reason why i love him. His music has helped me a lot and done so much for me. I owe Mika so much.

It really is. I'm so glad to hear that you're doing better. Ofcourse it's not your fault. I have once in my life wished someone death and that was the guy who was worst to me. Now i don't care, i'm learning to live with it and being proud of myself. I just pity people like those guys are. We are the real heroes and you're worth gazillions of him!.

And i'm so sorry to hear that someone treated you like that. I love that quote. These people will get their justice. I'm just thankful now that i didn't change myself a bit to try and fit in. I was always myself. That's what we gotta do I can't believe how nice people are here!

I was bullied pretty badly once. Ofcourse there was this one ringleader who would do anything to make me feel bad about myself and everything i did and others would follow. They were horrible and i would constantly make up sickness so i wouldn't have to go to school (or to get home from school). I sometimes got sick because i was so nervous to go. I moved from there after 8 awful years and in those 8 years i lived there i only had one real friend. She was amazing. I could always trust her and she'd help me a lot. She was the only thing i missed from there and when i moved to another town we'd call each other everyday. When i started the new school (excited to maybe finally get accepted) it didn't get much better. I wasn't bullied, and they weren't exactly mean to me. They just did nothing. I went through a total ignorance the last 3 years of my high school and had no friends at the time because that one friend i had from my old town died in a horrible accident the year after i moved. I felt that i missed out on a lot of friends-stuff. I don't talk to any of my school- or classmates and i am definitely not going to a reunion unless i'm in a much better position in life then they are. I haven't ever really talked about this.
