No, I will miss your meet up. I'm coming in on Tuesday and am trying to figure out how early I should get there. I am traveling with a friend who is not really into Mika but for some reason, she wants to go with me. I can't wait!!!

I am really looking forward to all of you! I also tend to be quiet and sometimes a bit shy although, if I am in a mood, I can also be outgoing. I'll have to see which me shows up on June 23.

When I think about it, I get freaked out too. I was lucky to see some shows in town and that was so nice, no drama, no lining up since my dh was not up to it (besides, they weren't Mika so it didn't really matter ) I will probably be in jeans and a t shirt too. That's like my everyday uniform. Gotta be comfortable if I am going to be sitting around for hours.

I am hoping for decent weather. I haven't gotten to the what I'm gonna wear part yet I feel like I'm a bit behind in planning since some have their flights and all booked. At least I have some time still. The hard part, the tickets, is taken care of. I never did get a flashing heart and I really liked them! I haven't been to NYC in over 13 years, at least!

Holly, are you pretty definite then? I AM excited to meet other MFCers! My friend offered to watch my kids for me. However, if she is watching the kids, that means I travel alone.

I may be going to this gig by myself also. Things are up in the air right now, not sure what I am doing yet. I will most likely drive to NY that morning. I haven't had much time to figure it all out yet.

Thanks for that post, DCDeb. It was not my intent to stir the pot on the venue's age limit at all. I just got confused by the venue's posted policy. If Team Mika says 18+ then I would not risk the possibility of traveling all that way to be denied at the door. Again, my apologies for the confusion!

Yes, that sounds like a good idea. I sure wouldn't want to drag everyone there and then get turned away! Ack! I don't like conflicting stories!

Gosh, now I'm getting worried. I hate conflicting stories. The guy who answered at the club said THEIR policy was always with legal guardian. He says he did not know what the presale stipulations were. I really hope that he knows what he's talking about! I did not get his name though.

I called the club and they said they allow minors in with their LEGAL GUARDIAN. He did say that you can't just walk in with someone else off the street that was older, it had to be a legal guardian. I told the guy I wanted to get the tickets to take my kids with me and I did not want to get there and then find out they couldn't get in. He said it was fine. The club policy had always been 18+ or with legal guardian. I hope that helps!

OMG! I am definitlely going! I got tickets for me and my kids!!! Yay! I called the club and they said that I could bring them in since I am their legal guardian. Wooohooo! They all all dancing around now.

WHAT??? It now says over 18 accompanied by legal guardian??? I could have gotten tickets to take my kids???
