Yay! I am SOOOO excited now!!! :biggrin2: I thinks we will be going! How many days of school do you think kids can miss for a concert? I would love to go to both Chicago and Minneapolis! Now, off to the dentist. I am so excited! (About MIKA not the dentist)

I am trying to decide between the Chicago and the Minneapolis shows. If it were summer, I would be able to do both but I am worried about the weather at that time of year. I think it would be the same distance for me to go to either and I have family in both places. I'm waiting to see if First Avenue is going to be all ages. I have been so excited since the dates were announced. I really hope I can get tickets!

I was so excited to see the dates for the US announced today. I could go to either Chicago or Minneapolis or both but DARN IT! They are on school nights!!! Also, the 2 gigs are in 21 and older venues. My kids were all so bummed that they can't go with me. What to do...what to do.... Hmm...I tried to talk my husband into going but he's not too thrilled with that idea (getting time off work), plus, the kids, childcare and all. My 9 year old said, "why can't you go by yourself?" I used to go to concerts by myself when I was a youngling... Well, I have a few days to think up a plan. Is anyone here going to any of the US dates?

How can anyone find him annoying??? (I know some do but still....) I just don't get it.

Thank you, Blue Sky! I lived in Japan for a few years, my 9 year old was born there. I miss it. I have to say, Grace Kelly was a great learning tool in our house. My youngest loved the song so I printed the lyrics out to have him follow along to practice his reading skills!

Hello, this is my very first post. I am a mom to 3 boys, 11, 9 and 7 and we are all Mika obsessed now. They can't seem to understand why he is not so popular here and why none of their friends know who he is. We listen to him constantly, have him in the car, the ipod, the DVD too now! We are in the northern midwest of the US. I hope to one day see Mika live with my 3 kids. The husband is quite baffled by all this. C
