great job guys... when i found this thread the day the letters were originally due, i was so excited! I'm so glad my letter, everyone else's, and alllll the BEAUTIFUL decorations and gifts finally got to Mika! It is a shame you didn't get to hand it to him, but the most important thing is it got there! Next time it will work out even better ;-) I can't thank you enough for all of your hard work, everyone involved. I wish I could have helped out more (dang over-protective mother ) ...oh well. And the hearts came out AMAZING! they look sooo pretty...I saw mine in the pictures and i basically squealed with delight! and the box just makes it even better! This project shows the determination of MFCers and that hard work and not giving up can pay off! Congrats to you guys who made it happen!

My friend called me last night and goes "SOMEONE'S SINGING MIKA ON AMERICAN IDOL!!!" I run (more like stampede, but it was only me ) down stairs and turn on the TV. I only caught the last time he sang "walk out the door" (cuz he sang it about half a dozen times ) though. Thank goodness for Youtube.... HA that's exactly what i was thinking! How can he not think that that performance will be memorable?! hahaha The judges were really enthusiastic...kinda surprising... but hey: it's Mika!

I'm 'kinda' new here but figured this was a great chance to get involved.....I haven't been on the site in DAYS either! I really want to do this and think it's a great idea... for me it's a chance to say something to Mika as well as do something more personal since I am unable to go to the one concert closest to me (feb. 1st)! I know my christmas was great today... got loads of Beatles goodies (quite a fan <3) and I FINALLY received a copy of Mika's CD! ugh i was sooo deprived before but i squealed when i opened that gift. (thank goodness for the internet or i would have had a hard time loving Mika this much up until now... stupid America and its ignorance of Mika! the first time i ever heard Grace Kelly was on the radio while i was vacationing in Florida i was basically bouncing off the walls of the car! but i'd love to hear Love Today at one of my school dances (ha with all C-Rap playing today I would laugh so hard..well after the song's over so i can have my 3 minutes and 57 seconds of sheer bliss ) second... agh that's a tougher one... oh, how about Paul McCartney singing either Big Girl or Lollipop. I would DIE that would pretty much complete my life (besides getting to actually see MIKA in concert some day )
