    Haven't read through this thread and want to read all the reports, but just to say I thought this concert was utterly amazing! I fussed beforehand about being on the balcony but turned out lucky because the view was brilliant - and the acoustics, oh my god. I know it sounds really stupid to say, but I although I knew Mika was a trained singer, I hadn't truly realised how good he is, and this venue brought that out so well! I still have notes from 'Over My Shoulder' in my mind... And yes, please do a gig report LM because you write beautifully and help people who weren't there to feel what it was like.

    Hey, Hi Ruth! Briefly, had no ways to contact anyone as had no numbers and thought I knew where I was going, but I didn't.... So saw streets of Amsterdam, but not MFC! V disappointed. Lesson learnt - get a number to call!! Utterly amazing concert (I know will get off this topic and post in the right place...) x

    Does anyone know the venue? I've got Balkon Row 3 seats 12 and 13 - despite booking early, having been a member of MFC since Nov 2007 and coming over from England for it. Taken 2 days off work for it too. So will I actually get to see anything?? I'm really sad about this - I just don't get why I'm so far from the other MFCers...its harsh Ex

    It is sad. But like it or not, sex is what sells the papers and articles so... Its probably more sellable to be a bit mysterious about it rather than straightforward so Mika's probably not as reluctant to have it talked about as is sometimes said. But I think for me, just because he's a musician doesn't mean we have any right to know about his private life, and if that's the point he's making then ABSOLUTELY!! Has always amazed me that people can think they have the right to know everything about artists - would they ask their doctor or dentist about their sexuality?
