What is so great about someone who makes a living from writing vicious things about people?? Including those who are clearly mentally ill and vulnerable! I don't get this hero-worship - just because he's Mika's friend and gave an interview doesn't make him worthy of all this lurve... Seriously where's the evidence he's a nice person? Happy to change my mind..but right now I really don't get why Mika likes him unless they're either dating or Mika's playing nice to help his career.

Ask him to do an interview with Mika and post it for us - a new one about 2008 and the new album... You could ask him if he and Mika have chicken dinners together when they meet... no, really don't ask him, that he'll never speak to us again!!!

I really like this one - it could be very interesting and provide some new insight into Mika as a person. I'd like to know what he meant on his site by Mika having 'one last hurrah' and 'one last outing' to US. Is Mika gonna retire or something??? Not very likely so what was that about? Have a feeling shall be coming up with questions all night now...

I guess if he was, he's probably coming back now if he's doing Jools Holland on Monday. Or is that pre-recorded?

That's what I hear too I kinda thought it was about being drawn to 2 different ways of life, one conventional and one not and not entirely belonging to either because liking both and having elements of both. Also wanting to be himself and accepted obviously for who he is (I thought it was 'This is who I am / This ain't a greater plan etc' ) without having to change when going between the 2 (being one person with family, and a completely different one when going out with friends, for example). I thought it was 'I can live an honest day', didn't realise it was about parting completely. Where does one find the defintive lyrics anyway? We're like medieval theologians poring over and analysing the words of the master!! Do you reckon they do this on other fan sites?? Its so great that Mika writes lyrics that can stand such scrutiny and be interpreted in lots of ways!

That sounds like Boy George who said the same as a deflection tactic - bet he borrowed it off him! I realise there are about 100 pages after the one I'm reading and what I think is probably sooooooooo yesterday, but I'll say it anyway.... I think Mika is far too intelligent and astute about the pop business not to realise what the effect of not discussing his sexuality is. I think he's postioned himself really cleverly - by not confirming what he is, it allows space for everyone to daydream but by inviting conjecture through his lyrics, style, who he hangs out with in showbiz etc etc then it isn't going to be that much of a surprise when he finally comes out. I would guess a lot of people will think 'oh well, we kind of knew anyway..' He isn't really hiding anything so he keeps his integrity, but he isn't saying anything either so he keeps a bit of privacy which must make it a lot easier on him and any partner at present. I think the truly interesting and surprising thing is no-one's definitely outed him yet one way or the other (as far as I know). That really says that he must be a great judge of character and pick his friends and partners really well. Good for him x a million!! God knows how he's stopped Perez Hilton, but even more good for hims! Whatever he is I really hope he's not Perezzexual - no, Mika, no, you can do so much better!!! Just about the lyrics - RR suggest bi-sexuality too - 'I was sitting on the fence / and I thought that I would kiss you'. I hope he's really happy and enjoying life and love with whoever... xx
