Oh my God, so soon?!?! 10 minutes ago I bought George Michael tickets. I'm going to end up on the streets:roftl: That's OK, I'll risk it to see Jordan live:wub2:
lol. Yes, I've been there, lots of times. That's where my high school graduation was held too; it was a little overwhelming because it IS so gigantic. It's a great place though.
We gotta meet up somewhere when you come down here for the concert!!! I'm like jumping up and down right now; I'm so excited that it's going to be right here in Sunrise!.
Yes, they definitely still have the right stuff:punk: They didn't sound "horrible" as Perez claims:sneaky2: They rocked... and they were all looking VERY fine too.
Their new single, Summertime, is good. Catchy and fun.
Ooh weird, I swear just the other day I was thinking about writing to Ellen begging her to get Mika on the show. That would be one of the best interviews in the whole history of talk shows!
I think the chances of him making an appearance will be better when he has something to promote...... like a new album **cough, cough**
I was a HUGE fan of The X-Files when it was on. I really want to start buying the series so that I can relive the whole experience. Love Mulder and Scully.
Danny Noriega! It's too bad that he got kicked off so early in the game. That guy had attitude and personality... he made the show fun to watch because I couldn't wait to see what he was going to say.
It's a Vampire Weekend thread!!
Being the celebrity stalker that I am, I found out about Vampire Weekend on Jonah Hill's MySpace:blush-anim-cl:
They rock.
The drunken bulletins are quite funny:naughty:
PS - Jay-Z is waaaay overrated. Don't blame you for not wanting to see him. Has Mark ever done anything with Kanye West?? THAT would be hot.
Oh man, I'm crazy about cartoons. None of these are recent, but I like: Popeye, Pink Panther, Woody Woodpecker, Yogi Bear, Scooby Doo, Inspector Gadget, Animaniacs, Garfield, and older Disney stuff.
Mr. Brightside was the song that got me hooked. They were playing it on VH1 like every five minutes. It's funny because at first it just annoyed me so much for some reason. Every time it came on, I would say to myself, "I HATE this song! I can't wait until it's taken out of rotation. The Killers are horrible, horrible." And it was so weird, one morning I just woke up with it stuck in my head and it wasn't long before I was waiting to catch it every morning, waiting to see Eric Roberts and Brandon Flowers playing chess and to hear those amazing lyrics.
I have to say I completely agree with this. I think I may actually like Sam's Town even more than Hot Fuss. There are a couple of songs that I always have to skip on HF (can't stand Everything Will Be All Right or Believe Me Natalie), but on ST, every song is perfect.
I've never been to one of their concerts, but I really can't wait for the day.
Not that anybody would care I'm sure. If I ever got hit with a bottle, I would proudly parade the injury all over town.
Stranger - "Hey, how did you get that big bump on your head??"
ME - " Oh this? Brendon Urie from P!ATD threw a water bottle and it hit me in the face! How awesome is that?!
Never met them. When I went to one of Rob's solo concerts, he made eye contact with me and I just about died right there. LOL.
I doubt I would be able to handle meeting any of them in person.
