  1. I think it's a great idea. I have to admit I was a bit disappointed about the weather making it impossible for us to "shine" in our costumes and it would be lovely to have a book with pics. :wub2:

I am glad you like the idea. I made an official thread about it:

    http://www.mikafanclub.com/forums/sh...61#post2977461

If anyone who had a handmade costume has drawings of their costume: I am interested in them as well, it would make a nice contribution I think.

  2. Yesterday when I was looking at pics from the Qing and at Mika's tour book I got an idea. Our costumes were great, there are some great pictures of them and it was such a special day that I want to make a Q book a la tour book (in case you are interested as well).

Of course I will need your help, since I would like to have photo's in high quality. My idea is to let everyone who wants to participate send me a few of their best pictures and then combine them to a beautiful book (my b/f who is a web designer will advise me about the layout). It can be photo's about people putting their make up on, getting dressed, wearing the clothes, gathering together, Mika signing stuff for them etc. As long as it is mainly about the dress up theme.

I don't want to make this book for Mika (tho if it turns out good I might give him a copy) but for ourselves.

Of course these days everyone can make their own photo book easily. But I thought a combined album would be nice. What do you think of this idea?

  3. There's a review in the Utrecht part of the AD newspaper about the gig. It is reasonably positive and it says that Mika was delayed since he got lost in Amsterdam, trying to find his favorite furniture shop by his own :teehee:.

Then he couldn't find a cap and but a lady in a cafe helped him to get one. He didn't have enough money for the taxi but I'm sure John took care of that :naughty:.

Did anyone else read reviews in newspapers about the gig?

  4. one pic from the m&g (quality isn't that good, it's from my mobile phone)

    picture.php?albumid=637&pictureid=6575

    he looked stunning :wub2:

    and my wallet :fangurl:

    picture.php?albumid=637&pictureid=6574

Oh Celien, you just made my day! Thank you so much for the pic where he signs my glove, it doesn't matter that the quality isn't that good (and his autograph looks great on your wallet). I relate to what you said about him not responding to you, he didn't respond to me either, I think he was in a hurry.

When he signed something for Queenie who was standing behind/in between Miek and me I leaned to the side to give him some space to sign. There was still little space so he was leaning on me quite heavily. I tried to lean to the side even more to give him more space when I thought: ahm...why am I trying to avoid touching him :teehee:? If it's no problem for him it isn't for me :bleh:.

I met you very very quick: you were sitting next to Ingie and I asked if you practised the slash-mob already with all the MFC'ers... :biggrin2:

Edit: Thank you Nielo... flash-mob :P

I like slash-mob. Let's keep calling it slash-mob :biggrin2:. Were you in fancy dress?

  5. The white rabbit is actually sweet :blush-anim-cl:, until you touch her Mika stuff :boxed:

    :biggrin2:

Q-ing was definitly 50% of the fun that day.

Another Alice and Mad Hatter movie:

:thumb_yello: I hope someone has lollipop complete including the pointing at Freddie and 'Lady gaga' Ingievv.

Ingievv: "Freddie, Mika is pointing at you, he wants you on stage"

    Freddie: "No he doesn't"

    I: "Yes he did"

Security came, Mika pointing again, Freddie on stage. Mika pointing another time, this time at Ingievv. Ingievv on stage. Freddie and Ingievv ROCKED!!

Both did a great job representing the Alice crew on stage. I think Mika picked exactly the right people. After their performance they were both in shock. Mika picked them personally. WOW!! They both couldn't believe it. And both wanted to be on stage with Mika a long time, weren't picked by Mama P.

I stood in front of Jimmy and Imma. Jimmy is such a fun guy. Followed him playing with the 'pop' all the time, didn't see Mika then. Both Imma and Jimmy had a lot of fun, you could see they did, also together making fun. Afterwards Jimmy came out to our Belgium fans (I stand right after them following their conversation) and he was joking with them, but also loved the book he got. "I would cry if it's possible, but my tears tubes got removed" :naughty:

Nobody touches my Mika stuff :biggrin2:!

And thanks for being not only Miek's but also my personal (balloon) assistant :original:.

On this vid you can see that Mika is circling around the place Ingie and Freddie will come on stage, great. It felt like they represented all of us dressed up people.

  6. I absolutley adored this gig - the qing was half the fun! 12 hours in the cold and rain yet it was fun - only Mika fans can say that surely!! The hot choccy and cakes from Mika were a nice touch and warmed us up a bit.

Not a lot for me to add about the gig as everythings been said - I loved every second of it, especially his chuffed little smiley face when he sees so many people singing back to him :)

M & G was nice, he looked stunning in beige - not many people you can say that about!

Gave hime my Mika doll and he said "it's me" !! bless him :)

Only thing is after a gig the depression is soooo bad!!

It is isn't it! I wish we could skip that part.

My vids, I didn't make many since I wanted to enjoy the show and I had made many in Antwerp already:

WAG (with Jimmy and Imma on fire)

    I see you:

and some random filming in the Q (I was explaining the filming function of my camera to Bienie):

  7. Totally! I was making my boss jealous today by telling her I saw louboutin :naughty: damnit I want him to make me some shoeeees.

Let's see if we can convince him to make an MFC shoe line :teehee:.

I thought it was great too to see Louboutin standing 2 meters away. He is a charismatic man!

Melissa, I love the Qing pictures, I love them even more then the pictures of the gig itself :teehee:.

  8. It's the ever famous fabulous fantastic Panasonic Lumix TZ10!!

No, i am sorry i don't have pictures of the dressed up people...As you know i arrived late (around 17:00) and had to move to the 'regular que'. Luckly i found a very good spot (3rd row in the middle) but there were no dressed up people....

I have the Panasonic Lumix TZ7! But it doesn't make good pictures at gigs when it is dark (it makes great films tho).

Of misschien ligt het aan de instellingen, ik heb geen idee hoe ik hem goed moet instellen voor dit soort gelegenheden, misschien kun je het me leren :bleh: (sorry, didn't know how to say this in English).

Monie dear!!!!!!!:wub2: Don't worry, I was so anxoius to know from you I couldn't wait:naughty: Soooooo glad you had such a good time. Next we MUST be together, woman!!!!!!!! :huglove:

Yes! We must and we will!!! :huglove:

I love the grouppic, tho some people are missing.

  9. She really would have! I was next to her and Monie was quite furious!:naughty:

Don't mess with a white rabbit :naughty:. It was lovely meeting you again :wub2:.

    Hi there,

I usually do not post here but now after yesterday I'll try it...

I liked the show very much. I really loved the pre-show and the aria, and the whole concept of the show. Dance Macabre, isn't it? Something medieval in the 21st century - this is why I love this guy.

I feel sometimes that what he does - especially on the stage, and so on, for example the murdering of the band and himself has a higher level artistic meaning and sometimes I am not quite sure that this meaning is properly reflected by the audience, but anyway, hey, this is the strange and weird thing what he does: sometimes singing about really, really sad things with a happy music - but at that time I do not really know how to respond, how can I be happy when someone says me something sad...?

So... It would be great to hear about how you feel and live up these controversies?

Anyway, a great and memorable performance and memory for me and I feel good that I was there... well done.

Interesting subject. For me the murdering of the band and himself doesn't have a higher level artistic meaning. It's just Mika playing around. And about being happy when someone says something sad, well, things aren't usually black or white, so for me the (sometimes) sad lyrics on the happy music are just 2 sides of the same coin. During a gig I'm usually quite happy (tho maybe excited is a better word :bleh:).

Being there yesterday with all the MFC'ers was huge part of the fun yesterday. I think Mika and his band were responsible for 50 % of it, and the MFC for the other 50 :thumb_yello:.

  10. thanks for the early reports monie and AMP, waiting for more now!

when is the mad hatter due home? :wink2:

You are welcome. The mad hatter is still close to Amsterdam, some of us will spend the afternoon together (he is amongst us). But first I have to give class, after 2 1/2 hours of sleep, just like Thursday after the Antwerp gig. I'm almost getting used to it :teehee:.

Edit: I already feel a post gig depression coming up, it was so great to meet this many MFC'ers yesterday!

And I managed to get a balloon, some people offered money for it and one boy tried to grab it out of my hand! If he had succeeded I would have slapped him, I'm not kidding. Now he got away with severe shouting from my part :teehee:. The strange things people do!

  11. Love Freddies outfit! his eyes is kinda scary with those lenses

    Ingie looks cute as Alice!

    Queen of hearts... wauw!

There were lots of amazing outfits, wait till you see the group pic. Complete strangers took photo's of us. At a certain point I walked in the area and got stared at a lot, I didn't understand why until I realized that I was dressed up with face paint on. I forgot :roftl:.

  12. Knackered, exhausted, ready for bed. Great gig, great (long) day of queuing. Practicing the flash mob right in the middle of a shopping area was a lot of fun, we had quite some audience. Doing it during the gig was not as strong as we had hoped because not all of the participants were standing next to each other and tho it looked in the morning like there were a lot of people participating, in a room with 8.000 people it suddenly looked a lot less :bleh:. So not an extreme success but fun anyway.

Freddie and Ingie weren't pulled on the stage by Mika (the stage was too far away), he pointed at body guards to pull them out of the audience, they got on stage the same way the LG's and BG's did. We were so happy with it. I was especially happy for Ingie since she hasn't had the chance to be a LG.

He smiled at us a lot during the gig, he clearly liked our dressing up. I felt like being part of the show because of it.

There were personal circumstances that made us enjoy the gig less then we had hoped tho, but it is not up to me to go into details.

But overall a great gig, tho I think in Antwerp he was more on fire, talked more, was more emotional, but perhaps also because of the crowd who went crazy there.

    Ok, off to bed now!

Edit: I just have to add that I am a fan of Imma, I stood right in front of her for the first time, she is amazing!

  13. they're only strict if they have enough/too many volunteers... :fisch: but that'll probably the case in amsterdam, i guess.

    oh, and: :woot_jump: :woot_jump: :woot_jump::glasses2:

It probably will, in Antwerp there were only like 50 or so volunteers for it (I'm not kidding) :bleh:.

I am starting to dislike the Lollipop/Big girl/ Boy/ Bride thingie. Too many people have been disappointment too many times. Biekje was chosen yesterday but send away later again. Rebecca and Ingie were promised to be LG's but weren't chosen (again). It seems like Mrs. P. is mainly picking mothers and daughters now. I know, it is difficult to organize but it kind of lost it's charm for me.

The gig itself on the other hand....:biggrin2:. I'm so looking forward to seeing all the costumes!
