  1. How big of you :thumb_yello: ! Thought you might freak out  , thinking I'm one of those ugly Internet predators :licks_lips: we hear so much about. What would be even bigger  would be to delete the effing message, I feel such an idiot :boxed: !

btw Marina at last got her message...

    Cheers,

Are things speeding up like mad :insane: at your school with the end of term coming up ? They are at mine, but then I am on the other side of the fence, so to speak, I'm not sure pupils feel the same pressure.

  2. Happy to hear you're feeling better, love . What's the weather like in Italy ? In the South of France it's been crappy for the last month : heavy rains or/and freezing northwestern wind  ...

I am a prize beggar :blush-anim-cl: , always looking for something and expecting other, cleverer MFCers to find it for me !

Above all I would like to know who the hell is the guitarist, in the foreground, on the photo a friend of mine attached to my 11/11/08 post on the 'Looking for something thread'. I know I know him, but for the life of me couldn't remember who he is -or who the band are  ...-.

Don't tire you pretty head over it but if you could trace them for me I would love you even more :wub2:. If possible, which I very much doubt.

Must go and pretend to do some kind of work... Bluffing is soooo tiring !

    Love,

  3. It must have been one of your posts but I have to go to all mine now and I find them boring. Should really avoid logging in when I am half asleep !

  4. Hi guys,

I deleted a few messages, visitors' or private, because my in box was full and I freaked out !

But I copied them before in a document (clever little me...).

  5. Indeed I did, but I can't remember why now ! Was half comatose with a couple of bad nights... When I remember will come back to you.

    Cheers,

  6. I'm a bit disappointed in you, man...:emot-sad: posting mostly on the Dutch thread and just a little bit on the English ones :wink2: ! Naughty naughty, especially as your English is so effing brilliant ...

Come on, my English is not half as good as yours and I don't even want to know if there is a French thread ; very likely, I would say, but who cares ?

I forgot to recommend the Lowlands interview but you must have traced it and downloaded it by now. Mika is particularly relaxed when he is interviewed in your country, he said somewhere that he liked the Dutch's happy sense of humour and lack of self-consciousness :cheerful_h4h:. Eric, the journalist, is a striking illustration of that statement :thumb_yello:.

  7. Thanks, but I don't have any men in kilt pics to add here. I would hate to be rejected by this thread !

  8. As well you should !

Thanks a load for the information :huglove:...

  9. Wendi,

So happy :dance_man: I could trace a Scot... or are you just a resident there ?

Anyroads, I have been dying to start a club with people (Scottish or not) who are deeply, madly, completely in love with Scotland but don't know how to do it.

    Can you help ?

    Would you be in ?

    Cheers,

  10. Too lazy to write it again but you can read my today's visitor's message to Racha :thumb_yello:... We are at least three of a mind. But very likely many more.

    Cheers,

  11. Dear Racha,

Have just been trying to send you a private message but not sure it went through...

It was about the fourth and fifth paragraphs of your yesterday's post answering Soaring Simpson's and I could'nt agree more with you about the magnificent 'B' gigs :thumb_yello: .

Feel so privileged I was there :wub2: ... Sorry you couldn't make it to the Werchter festival though, it was :insane:, on and off stage !

Peace be with you and Lebanon.

  12. Nope :emot-sad:... will go back to the forum to beg for information or send very touching 'Help' messages :crybaby: to my MFC friends.

    Cheers,

  13. Id3, king of typos...

Thank you for the tag. Actually I think his ‘turning all Céline’ (a quote from a previous interview) on July 4th was more a touch wood, fingers crossed thing than a way to spare his voice ; I have heard that Céline Dion stops talking 24 hours before a big show…

You had Mika’s horoscope made ? Did you somehow manage to get hold of his birth time ? I am so jealous ! If you did, name your price, tell me who I have to kill or whose child I have to kidnap, any favour in exchange for that precious information.

    Cheers, Leo,

  16. Welcome :flowers2: ! There are quite a few tauruses here. No wonder, they love music :wink2: .

  17. Dear sweet-dreams,

I don't like all songs by Queen, sometimes Freddie annoys me when he believes himself to be an opera singer... does that sound like blasphemy to you ? :sorry:

But there is one video clip that makes me drool like a boxer (the dog, not the fighter) : Crazy little thing called love. I wish I were that shredded shirt. No, I wish I were inside it. Actually I don't know which but :mfr_omg: ! And the song is brilliant too...

    Your :drool:ing Id3

  18. Feeling unwell  ? Take care and get better ! :flowers2:

  19. Dear Mari,

Have just come across one of your messages to daisylou. So sorry to hear you have been unwell  !

    Please recover quickly :flowers2:.

    Your biggest fan :wub2: ,

  20. Hi, Mark ! For some reason I had missed your introduction post and came across it by chance.

Welcome to the MFC :flowers2: . Here you are going to meet lovely, broad-minded people (like mari62, read her posts, she is so positive, I have totally fallen in love with her! :wub2:) and a few dogmatic, self-righteous bigots (no names :lol3:) but on the whole I am sure you are going to enjoy the club. All the more so as your English is near perfect.

I guess you haven’t had the opportunity to see Mika on stage yet ? If you loved the DVDs you will be swept off your feet at your first gig ! And his crowds are unbelievable, so respectful of each other, so friendly, so many so different people, from old age pensioners to 3-year-olds, all vibrating together :groupwave:, during and after the concert, when they are waiting for Mika outside the theatre and freezing their b… off.

Another way of knowing Mika -the man, not the artist- is to watch as many interviews as possible ; he is often hiding behind the official version of his personality, but if you are very attentive, you can see the guy behind the façade… thrilling :thumb_yello:. I highly recommend the CBS interview by Jason Bellini and the ‘7 à 8’ early French interview. But there are loads of them and by piecing them together I believe you can get a pretty good idea of who Mika really is. I have so far downloaded over 60 Go of gigs and interviews ! I believe I really deserve the name of ‘fan-atic’.

    Cheers,

    Id3

PS I'd love to be one of your MFC friends :blush-anim-cl:. Am going to apply...

  21. Must have pushed a stupid thing without meaning to and the message was sent.

It was supposed to end thus :

'Thanks in advance for giving me a clue to find your drama-queening post.

    Cheers,

    Id3'

  22. Hi !

I noticed your name connected with the PdesP DVD tag 'Mika's drama queening' and coudn't find it... when did you post it ?

Drama-queen... it takes one to know one, doesn't it ? And Leos, like you, Mika and me (if your mum had waited one more day you would be our identical twin) are notorious drama queens, aren't they ? And short tempered, and generous, and warm, and rater bossy. Are you all that ?

Thanks in advance for giving me a clue to y

  23. I was just saying that making fun of an elderly lady's name and nationality was at the same time extremely childish, rather unsavoury, and chauvinistic into the bargain. I am sure there are lots of better ways of wasting one's time, your occupation according to your profile.

Actually I wanted to start a thread with my November 6th thought for the day but didn’t because of the young fans that might read it and the ‘orgasmic’ part. Might as well have done it : the bulk of the MFC seems to be overgrown female adolescents and middle age housewives, not many preteens here. Still, we don’t want to risk shocking kids, do we ? Even if they watched the bad bunny gangbang live or on utube multiple times…

Whenever I come across one of those posts I copy them in a document, but I don’t look for them. Honestly folly freaks me out : give me ten intelligent beasts but spare me one fool –even a well meaning one, and unfortunately not all fools are sweet. Poor Voltaire !

Incidentally I understand a bit of Italian, even broken one.

    Cheers,

    Id3

And inverted snobbery is the reason of... can you help me here ? I believe that 'snob' is he contraction of 'sine nobilitate'.

Actually inverted snobbery must be something Mika had to suffer at the lycée Charles de Gaulle too. Definitely too close to home, I should'nt mention it to him. All the more so as he is an Eastern guy, they are most respectful of elderly people there, they don't take kindly to people insulting them.
