  1. this thread is starting to sound like some of the comments left on his mikasounds blog.. Mikaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa... come to Dubaiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii :roftl: or even better... just send some DVDs... that will do for now...
  2. The weather is amazing in Dubai - very safe and pleasant ... and he might as well bring a copy of that DVd with him... since they are not selling any here..
  3. I like how some of you have different points of view of the DVD... though most like it... some find certain parts more interesting than other.... and since I am not going to see it anytime soon.. this thread is a great preview of the DVD... I guess it is fair to say that PDP gig has almost the same line of songs as LICM - so there were no surprises there... maybe that's why the magic was a little less ... especially knowing that some of the best shots were edited (I remember seeing lollipop on youtube... and it was a little naughty).. too bad they felt the need to edit the fun part... the artistic side of it is completely different... it is safe to assume that Olympia was a pure music gig... PdP was more of his artistic vision of a theatrical as well as a musical gig... so it was not just about the music... that being said, the effort done behind this show from an audio visual perpective is great to see on DVD... am glad I attended the Amsterdam and Beirut gig as both were relatively smaller than PdP... so it is great to see PdP on DVD with the right angels and without missing out on the details - though I have to admit even in Amsterdam I was sooo far back that I almost saw most of the gig from the giant screens on the side Documentary part seems to have been a winner with all of you... I can't wait to see that! keep your reviews coming... that's our only info for the time being... which brings me to the next topic... How come none of the music/entertainment magazines (online or real) have reviewed the DVD yet
  4. all is well ... missing it here 2 :wub2:

been very busy in RL... will be back as soon as things calm down...

    :punk:

  5. I got the drawing... you have lovely handwriting...

    :wub2:

I love what you have added... :wub2:

I have been very busy in RL - will try to finish it this weekend

  6. Hi Silver...

    :wub2:

I have been very busy in RL... no time to scratch my head ... miss you all

  7. welcome to my world... well, in my world they know Mika very well... they just think I wanted to order another copy of LICM Robi... am very interested in hearing your review...
  8. me too ... although I was there! 2007 sounds toooooo far away now... I think he was experimenting with the song... I haven't heard it in any of the gigs I attended in 2008
  9. not sure about Jordan... but he definitely did not sing it in Beirut I remember him singing it in Dubai Though.... but that was in 2007
  10. Thank you for the reviews... I like how each one has a different prespective of the DVD - some loved the show, others the documentary - some have seen it live others for the first time... adds excitement
  11. ahhhh, join our naughty corner! This happened to me, many many times... and in most cases, my comments were never approved. Mind you, I am now seriously considering popping a marriage proposal before I type my real comment - just to pass security... * now i run back to the naughty corner*
  12. I have to learn how to decypher his royal curliness code! my bad
  13. he probably was too tired to send his "kisses" after typing this loooong blog...
  14. Thanks for the review... the DVD sounds very interesting... although many were anticipating more footage from last winter's gigs... but it looks like the material included is quiet interseting... though more focused specifically on that event ... am now really looking forward getting it soon... crossing fingers DVD will be released in Dubai before my trip to London...
  15. if they don't get it by the 27th in Dubai - I will buy it in London:punk: ... they couldn't promise me at the record shop cause it is not in their system yet (to be honest, I think the guy was too lazy to check properly)... they are even out of stock "Live in cartoon Motion"... and I need to get another one... can't wait to see the DVD with all the nice stories... nice to know that other artists have respect for him... now it's time for the media to give him the same kind of attention... he always describe himself as a perfectionist - good for him... so far it has produced nothing but good stuff... I can imagine at least a couple of people saying "Mika, thanks, but NO, thanks"... so true ... now, people with DVD... keep your reviews coming
  16. no, thank god no... people are respectful about it till now... which is great... you know, I would rather hear your points of view and get a feel of the DVD based on what it meant to you guys than look at it on youtube.. I know I will eventually receive it... so footage is irrelevant to me... but i don't mind the screen grabs
  17. wow... the DVd sounds great... happy that you guys are enjoying it... hopefully we will get it here soon keep those reviews coming... it's the closest thing we have to actually seeing...
  18. Hi Em... was looking at our pictures in London the other day... at Victoria station ... horrible pub... great vacation... :)

  19. I can't get over your avatar pic - looks like the interview/scene is funny... makes me want order the DVD now.. you are the best DVD forum advertising

    :)

  20. I don't think anyone here can help you... sorry... no one is aware of his schedule as we are all just fans and are not associated with him personally or professionally... and he is quiet discreet about his schedule and plans.. so you won't be hearing about that from the news... in other words.. no one knows, and no one will know... not here at least
