  1. It was today! Well, actually yesterday! 13.08 and we landed at about 6pm. No seeds or nuts on the table. He was behaving himself. There was really NOTHING suspicious! But he knew from the beginning he was being under my watchful eye:wink2:
  2. It was today! Well, now it's actually YESTERDAY! 13.08 and we landed at about 6pm.
  3. No! Others didn't recognise him! I actually only recognised him because I DID recognise his mum! He was wearing sunglasses and walked in with head down looking under his feet. Oh bless him:wub2::wub2:
  4. I know that interview! And also the one where he said he does weird things on flights, takes is own nuts and food out etc. I was afraid of that a bit - especially crying (well, although I could have helped there - we all have a first aid course finished:naughty::naughty:) But NOOOOO!!!! He was just sweet, very polite and incredibly cute!!!! You never know about the shop. I was saying the same. How come Mika would ever fly a low cost airline / easyJet / be on MY flight?!?!?! there are 1200 of us at London Gatwick itself. now, THAT is called MIRACLE
  5. They saw what's going on with me and didn't even dare go there:mf_lustslow: I also asked the captain if we could circle in the air a bit longer but he wasn't too impressed:biggrin2:
  6. He was watching a film on his iPad but when I was serving their row he removed his headphones immediately and started chatting to me - thanked for the note and said I looked familiar:mf_lustslow: He was just ADORABLE! THE BEST PASSENGER EVER!!!!:mf_lustslow:
  7. Haaahaaaahaaaaahaaaahaaaa! I won't even describe what it felt like to check Mika's seatbelt is fastened before landing:naughty::naughty:
  8. I was only nervous before I did anything. I didn't want him just to go to sleep or watch a film and never even look at me. But once I wrote the note and gave it to him I felt much better and I knew he wouldn't let me down. All of them were so smiley, chatty, just lovely! I asked Mika if he wanted some ice with his apple juice. He said no and started laughing and I started laughing too and said: This is not real! His mum just looked at me and said: ohhhh, just look at you:roftl: I think he was surprised too - last place to find a hard-core fan - on your way back from holidays:roftl:
  9. Second, first one was in Brighton last year after the show where i was a big girl.
  10. Of course I did! I wrote that in the note - about the MFC, being a big girl, well everything - you know, I had him sat there for 2 hours The funniest thing was that his mum said she did recognise me and then when I was giving them their snacks Mika said he only DIDN'T recognise me because of the uniform, which makes me look so smart. I said it does make a difference: work uniform and queueing for a gig the whole day:roftl: Oh we had a laugh, I'm sooooo over the moon!!!!! I don't believe it's real! I can't get to sleep just in case I get up in the morning and it'll turn out to be a dream!
  11. Hey guys! Today my wildest dream came true! I'm a flight attendant for easyJet and I've been DREAMING for over 2 years to have Mika on a flight one day. And.... HE WAS on my flight today!!! I still need to cool down a bit as this is the most random thing ever! I was just boarding the plane in Olbia (Sardinia) and there is Mama Mika, Yasmine and Mika:mf_lustslow::mf_lustslow: I didn't want to cause chaos, although I honestly felt as if I just saw a ghost and really didn't believe that was actually happening, so I wrote a note for Mika telling him I've seen 14 shows, was a Big Girl in Brighton and that I've always imagined he's on my flight and this is actually happening!!!! He read it, smiled, his mum said my face looked familiar to all of them and we had a lovely chat. I didn't let them pay for their snacks - who would?!?!?!?! We took photos, giggled, they left, I was left speechless and just over the moon!!!!! Please remember this story as a proof that miracles DO happen!!!! Photo to follow in a few minutes:wink2:
  12. Oh wow! I've just watched the photos! No French costumes! I hope you had a great time everyone who attended! Looking fwd to more reports/pics!
  13. Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Janice Joplin, Kurt Cobain,Amy Winehouse... All died at 27...
  14. Hahahahaha! I'm so glad you mentioned Tindersticks gig as one of the reasons! Seriously.... and the award for the worst band in the world goes to......
  15. Oh yes, it is! I was a little shoked in Compiegne and soo relieved in Porto! It's not even red anymore, I guess:thumb_yello:
  16. This one is my absolute favourite! I love the story, the structure, the melody and arrangements! When Mika played it in Compiegne it had great reception instantly with everyone clapping and it was applauded afterwards. I'd love to see him go in that direction more. I like Elle Me Dit as it is catchy but it is the songs like 82 rue.. that allow him to explore his possibilities. As far as Blame It On The Weather is concerned I'm not a fan - it's too Disney-like imho but perhaps it'll grow when I listen to the final album version:blink:
  17. Just came back from France and, as everyone has already written reports and said everything, I don't think there's much to add. Just one thing: I loved the show! 82, rue Des Martyrs is a beautiful song (and there is a bistro under that number - we checked it in Paris yesterday:wink2:). The stage and costumes were amazing! Mika was in great form but I had the impression he was rushing through songs a bit. I won't write much about queueing as I really don't want to get angry again but... who starts queueing at 2 am? and... why do we queue at all if people without numbers are let in at the same time? Eh! Apart from that it was great to see so many familiar faces again, after a looooong break and be part of this unique show!
  18. Thank you LilStar for your translation! And yes, it does sound a little autobiographical, don't you think? I'm sure Mika's album is going to be diverse and this is just a warm-up - a catchy dance song (which I love by the way). Now I SO CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HIM IN COMPIEGNE!!!
  19. Awww! I love it! And I love the curls!!! I'm so going to Paris next Spring now! By the way: I don't believe they forgot about grey undies. Does anyone want to check?
  20. This is very wise advice Sephira. I'm not going myself, but I hope everyone else will have a great time with Mika. For sure it's a special time for him too and it would be not nice of us - fans, if he got chased all the time for photos etc. The idea of wearing elegan clothes for the unveiling is also great. have fun everyone and... take lots of wax Mika photos!!!
  21. So happy for all of you, guys... Let's just hope everyone can get there (including Mika:biggrin2:)
  22. Oh... a trip to Paris then soon. Anyone wants to go - maybe to the unveiling? Hmm?
  23. OMG! It's still so surreal! Mika WAS in Poland, the show WAS better than any other I've been to and everybody loves him now in my country! Plus... the golden foil and confetti!!!!!
  24. Wooow!!! I love the tshirt! I'm sure he's gonna wear it! You're very talented and congratulations on meeting M.! @Melisanda: I had no idea your mum was there! Mine will go next time 4 sure, but I hope it will be a smaller venue:thumb_yello:
