Welcome here Ellen! I'm Muriel from France. I'm lucky Mika sang a few songs in French and did The Voice but I don't really like Mika singing in French ( Grace Kelly in French is awful). His friend Doriand seems a nice chap but the songs he wrote are not my cup of tea. Mika singing Barbara's songs is ok though. I'll come to your country for the first time in 19 days and will spend some time in California , Arizona, Utah and Nevada.

En parlant des singles des candidats de The Voice, j'ai entendu à la radio cet après-midi sur rtl le single des Frero delavega. C'étaitune émission en live avec des candidats de Voice 3, 2 et 1 qui chantaient en acoustique. C'était pas mal Je trouve aussi que les CRs que nous aurons auront leur place dans le thread The voice J'espère en lire quelques uns quand même.

It seems like I've missed lots of posts. I'm not very active on Twitter and didn't know about the discussion. I'd like to say a few things as I'm France representative (and proud to play this role). I'm glad to hear French fans are welcome here. I expected lots of them to join us because of The Voice. Unfortunately, they haven't Too insecure about their English? New members of the French forums only? Maybe a bit of both. (I agree with you, Guy (post 3068). I hope more French fans will join us! Thanks for encouraging them to come here Melanie! @Melanie @Rose: Antoine (Mikawebsite admin) and Ysa/Maggie (MikaFrance mods) are MFC members too and communication is ok between the 3 forums. Ysa and Antoine were really helpful and enabled lots of us to watch recordings of The Voice Deb did try to get tickets to go to The Voice but she couldn't get any. A couple of tickets were available on Mika's FB. Deb did all her best I also appreciate all what the mods do for all of us here and would like to thank them. I agree with 99 % of what Guylaine said (posts 3005 and 3048). Extreme behaviours make me freak out. The remaining 1% is about the private gig. I wouldn't have gone to meet him at the private gig either but as it wasn't really a secret (he let the cat out of the bag), I don't blame anybody for having tried. If I were famous, I would be careful with what I say because if I tell my fans I'll be at an event, some of them would turn up to see me. (I think like Mellody (post 3011) and Treasa (post 3014)) Mika pie was a very good metaphor! It took me a long time to read this thread, I've got to go now. My kids want their supper.

Salut Cath et Val! Je me traîne... dur dur de recommencer les nuits après 14 jours de vacances à la maison... allez, la dernière ce soir. C'est vrai que voir Mika à The Voice n'a rien à voir avec Mika en concert. Mes enfants ont atteint l'âge de s'intéresser à The Voice et ils en parlent beaucoup dans la cour à l'école, donc j'ai dû m'y mettre

Nicou! Tu as été gâtée, tu l'as entendu chanter avec les autres coaches puis avec Kendji La victoire de Kendji était attendue mais il n'est pas THE voice, comme beaucoup le pensent. Il est malgré tout sympathique et j'attendrai qu'Igit sorte son single ou son album pour voir si "mon" candidat répond à mes attentes. Sinon, j'ai découvert qu'un bar Nutella allait ouvrir à New York à Manhattan, non loin du Flatiron. Tout de suite ça m'a fait penser au concert Nutella. Dommage que je déteste le Nutella Bonne journée à vous tous/toutes! Bonne semaine!

I'm happy Mika's team won but I'm not happy Kendji won (even though he sounds a nice fresh guy, his voice is not THE voice of this contest). Their interpretation of 'L'aigle noir' was not as good as Mika's interpretation of 'La solitude'. I was not moved last night. I'm glad there will be this new single in June. It will be a nice birthday present (*cross fingers it's true and it won't be delayed*). Mika, Jenifer, Florent Pagny, Garou singing "Everybody Needs Somebody " together was really good. The only duo I really enjoyed was Garou and Maximilen's version of "With a little help from my friends". It was also good to see Anastacia

I just heard an interview of Garou on the radio (rtl) and he said Maximilien Philippe will sing 'Comme d'habitude' (=My way) but it will be more rock'n'roll than the original version.

aïe! Ah non, pas Danse avec les stars!! Rien contre l'émission (d'ailleurs je ne l'ai jamais vue mais bon, il y a un 4ème album à faire!!!!)
