    85$? Where was that? From what I have seen so far, almost everything is expensive here, in the cities as well. The only exception are CDs which is driving me crazy because for me it doesn't make any sense to buy any here:boxed: But on the other hand the wages are higher as well so it's kind of alright (if you have work) I guess.So I guess there is no way to get to Dubbo without a car anyways?

    I'm on a Working Holiday:naughty: So I'm here for about a year hopefully. I'm from Germany (like way too many backpackers here:teehee: ). I absolutely want to go to Perth. At the moment I'm a bit stuck, because Im running out of money:aah: Btw, would it be better to go from Adelaide to Perth and to the outback from there or rather the route from Adelaide to Alice Springs to Perth, what do you guys reckon? I haven't been to the zoo, no. I usually tend to think that we have a zoo at home, too, you know, so I rather see things that I can't see back home. maybe I'm wrong:dunno:

    Hey there, I love Sherlock. I've been a Holmes Fan for ages, and this version is just awsome. Unfortunately I'm a bit behind, I've only seen the first season becase it was out in Germany only last year and now I'm traveling so I'm a bit out of touch and I didn't have the chance to see the second season yet.

I've been to Soundwave (got a job there ) and I've seen a bit of the Adelaide hills. But I must admit, I don't really know where Victoria ended and SA started when I got here:naughty: But Adelaide is nice. Quiet if you've been to Sydney and Melbs before, but nice

    It depends. When I actually meet Australians (which doesn't happen very often) yes it is, but living mostly in backpackers it's usually "So where are you from?" the garbage question ist waay better though :biggrin :

    I just wasn't sure anymore, because the guy was from Victoria:biggrin2: I'm in SA now, here it has been relatively calm so far (but the news say the floods are moving south)Wow that dam IS massive.

    Someone told me Australia (or maybe it was only Victoria, I'm not sure anymore:blink:)had enough rain this summer to refill the reservoirs that have been emptied in the last six years.

    Great thread! We both have a little brother we both have a pet (though mine is a cat) we both like cartoons (esp. Tintin) and Tim Burton Movies we both speak english and french (okay my french is pretty poor but still) we both can drive (and we both aren't good at it:teehee: ) we're both shy We both can't read music we were both cubby as kids (and one of us still is:wink2: ) we're both interested in japanese culture We both like to draw We both failed to be vegetarian That's all I can think of right now. More than I thought
