    Scream and judge. Because some/me believe that they/you can cope with this, they/me believe that it is a whim. Do you understand?... I think it's a whim, but you think that this freedom of choice. Miscellaneous. Screaming because they/me want to save you. You do not want to be saved, because you consider free to make such a choice. There will never be completely right.

    I have a very different vision. While I want to save Mika, it means that I love him. If I would not care, then I will say, "let he be the way he is. f* him"

     

    I don't think Mika is waiting to be saved. Not by anyone, let alone by his fans.

     

    And so basically, you believe that only those who want to change his personality or solve this little "problem" of his,as you describe it , are the ones that care about him and the others that accept his personality don't care one bit. I'm sorry, but that's just wrong. That's clinging on to this image of Mika that is formed completely to your wishes. That's not caring about someone, that's being delusional and denying him as a person.

    Yes it happened to me too with many songs. First you love them but then for some reason you get tired of them. It never happened with GK or TB though... but for the rest of the songs,yes.

     

    And I understand it,no one needs to fall in love madly with any song. But Im happy it happened to me with this one cause I was feeling a bit odd with all the songs. For me,this is the GK of this album so far.

     

    About the latin part, he must say "nostruM". And about the patre/matre... the real word is pater and mater,so.... :aah: He obviously never studied Latin.... LOL

     

    the "patre/matre" part isn't necissarily wrong. It's the singular ablative. So would maybe translates as "with our father". But nostru isn't right then, nostro would be the fitting ablative to go with patre.

    Sometimes I´m happy Im deaf :aah: I can enjoy the same song for ages till I get used to it :aah:

     

     

     

    Oh... But... were you in your "ohmyGodMikaisfantasticIlovehimmorethanmylife" period? :teehee: I mean, I think it´s different listening to a song when you are "up" in feelings (sorry, I´m a bit hard to understand sometimes) than when you are not... you know what I mean??

     

    I just want to get rid of this feeling which is making me feel that he is losing a lot of his old fans due to his new direction...

     

    Well, I always have the habbit to absolytely hate his new songs first, and then after I listen to it a few times, I start to love them.

    Ofcourse Grace Kelly caught my attention, i pretty much liked that from the beginning, since I didn't know Mika before that. And then came Love Today and Relax. Oh god, I hated Relax. Come on, someone singing Relaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaax a million times, no thank you. (Relax still isn't one of my favourites, but I do think it's a really good one live, since it gets the party started!) And then Love Today. Nope, didn't like that either. But still I bought the cd. It took quite some times since I started to like it. Then it all went a bit quiet, untill I saw the WAG video. First thought: Has he completely lost it? Dancing around in his underwear, and he's already in his mid twenties! But I started to love it, and I've got the TBWKTM for my birthday from a friend. It took a month before I put it on! :aah: But 2 weeks later I was stalking the MFC and nagging to my mother to let me go to a gig.

    So no need to panic yet Rosa :naughty:

     

     

    Btw, I love this song from the first time I listened to it. I was sceptic, with the whole nicorette thing. But he just won me over with the Latin choir part. :wub2: I hope he'll definitely keep that in his live versions, that would be very impressive live with a choir I think.

    Absolutely. Less conventional sounds , less piano etc... I'll love his new album for sure , I already love these two new songs , but I think I'll miss the ballads and the weirdness of some of his songs that makes him so Mika , so unique. But I do understand that he can't be stuck on the lollipop stage forever though.

     

    maybe it's still there, but we just need more songs to find it?

    But I know what you mean. I think that's why I am at this point still a bit in doubt. This one seems a bit more his old self than Make You Happy maybe.

    I'm just a bit worried how he's going to combine these with his old ones in a gig. And if he's still going to use the extras on stage, like the beautiful decors, the clothing etc. Hmm. I need the entire album + a gig to decide :aah:

    Imogen Heap used that vocoder sound on one of her songs, but not on every one. I wouldn't worry that every song is going to have a robot voice on it :naughty:

    I think the voice works at some times in the song, but at other times it's all you can here :aah:

    But yes indeed, I don't think he'll use it in every song.That would be a bit too much of the same. :aah:

    He needs to change if music changes.... and I don´t mean "his" music, but music in general

     

    I know. But I mean, I kinda like the song. I love it when he sings, but that robot voice is so very much present :aah: He might to something special with it live though so it's less electronic. After all I liked elle me dit live too.

    I'll just have to sleep on it :mf_rosetinted:
