My god Laurel! It really must have been hard to be there and not being close to your mum at that time. Can't imagine what you must have felt like. You know...I was in Amsterdam too...my first gig...and I saw you (well I think I did anyway) Recognized you from your picture in your sig, you're the one on the right? Was thinking: Hey, I believe that's some girl from MFC. Never could have imagined what you went through at that moment...I feel really very sorry for you. We are about the same age and our mums too (I'm 41 and mama is 64) so I relate to this story in a way...Been reading you're going to live on your own now for the first time? Wow, that must be exciting and scary at the same time right? With every change in your life, whatever it might be, you will be missing your mum badly, I guess! So, I wish you (again) all the strenght you'll need for now and for the future! (hope you don't mind me asking this very personal question) Love, Rian
