My god Laurel! It really must have been hard to be there and not being close to your mum at that time. Can't imagine what you must have felt like. You know...I was in Amsterdam too...my first gig...and I saw you (well I think I did anyway) Recognized you from your picture in your sig, you're the one on the right? Was thinking: Hey, I believe that's some girl from MFC. Never could have imagined what you went through at that moment...I feel really very sorry for you. We are about the same age and our mums too (I'm 41 and mama is 64) so I relate to this story in a way...Been reading you're going to live on your own now for the first time? Wow, that must be exciting and scary at the same time right? With every change in your life, whatever it might be, you will be missing your mum badly, I guess! Hi! NuRy was my teacher in this matter! I put my gif into my photobucket-account and from there I post it on the MFC. You can do that with the 'direct link' that will be on your gif then...Good luck, hope my explanation will do for now?

Oja, Werchter, hmmm, dat zou ik ook wel willen...Maar ik ga mijn man nooit meer zo gek krijgen denk ik, en dan zeker niet voor een festival...En alleen ga je toch ook niet echt, wel? Nou ja, ik kijk naderhand jullie filmpjes wel!

Mijn 2 jongens van 5 en 9 worden ook blij van mijn muziek. Ze zingen regelmatig spontaan een stukje (klinkt nog niet geweldig maar dat komt meer omdat ze geen Engels kunnen) Ach ja, ze moeten wel wat liedjes kennen ondertussen want ze horen echt niks anders!

Mijn jongste had voor Mika een mini tekeningetje gemaakt, moest ik maar 'effe' geven zei hij. En dan kun je hem meteen uitnodigen om op de koffie te komen hier, mam! Haha, hij is nog te klein om te beseffen dat Mika daar weinig zin in zal hebben... Oja, en hij wilde ook nog weten of Mika nog echt leeft of dat ie ook dood is net als Michael Jackson!

Hoihoi, aha, ik zie dat ik toch niet onopgemerkt ben gebleven! Tja, die foto's, ik zit gewoon heel vaak een beetje rond te kijken op internet en dan vind je soms hele mooie! En ik zag dat ze nog niet op de hyves stonden dus kon het niet laten...kan iedereen ervan meegenieten!

Kijk eens aan, je man begint dus een beetje te ontdooien! Das wel zo handig als er 2(!!) Mika-fans in huis rondlopen! Hij heeft zijn 'verzet' waarschijnlijk opgegeven?

Hoi Jolanda, bedankt voor je 'welkom'. Zo grappig, als je eenmaal aan het rondneuzen bent, vind je werkelijk overal dezelfde mensen. Zo zie ik jou ook vaak actief op de Mika-hyves...leuk! (en je dochter ook natuurlijk) En jij bent maar een jaar of 7 ouder dan mij, dus das niet eens zo heel veel toch? Weet niet hoe het bij jou zit maar ik ben gewoon aan mij 2de pubertijd begonnen! Als mijn man het goed zou vinden ging ik volgens mij posters van Mika boven mijn bed hangen...hahaha Enne...Amsterdam was ontzettend cool, hè? See you around!!
