i think my mother belongs here. even though she's likes Mika (the carefully chosen selections i've played for her anyway) she's definitely phobic of some sort. she would say Mika's going to hell & i'd be going there with Him if she ever heard Love Today (for being too lustful) or Toy Boy (for mentioning magic & for sounding homosexual) or Blame It On The Weather (for the word 'adore' because only jesus is worthy of adoration or something. oh, plus she'd not be too keen on another song about blaming) or several other songs too, unless He and i and everyone else who listens to those songs repents before we die; then she'd pray for us, probably do spiritual warfare too. omg she had a praying fit when she finally figured out He says 'damn' in WAG because that's speaking damnation into our lives or something; i dunno i wasn't really listening to her

i'm not sure what her punishment should be. any suggestions?

My dad said that most of the gays are really creative/have some special talents. Is this true or is he being sexist?

this is a good question! i've wondered about that too. hmmm... i reckon everyone has is creative & has special talents in their own way. perhaps it just seems as though "gay people" are more creative because they are more open & unafraid about sharing their talents than "straight people", maybe it has something to do with "gay people" are used to being open in other ways & "straight people" are repressed due to fear of being judged as gay or something. some "gay people" i know seem totally uncreative & some "straight people" are very creative. i dunno, i'm totally babbling!

btw, i'm bi. i told my over-Jesus obsessed, rather homophobic parents a few years ago, they prayed for me then seemed to forget about it so i never brought it up again. they probably thought it was just a phase

OMG! i love this song,the music is SUPER AMAZING,the back up sounds r just awesome:trumpet and mika's voice makes it THE BEST! this is the first time i can feel the real rhythm and make me so FRESH!:

the begining sounds a bit... i don't know... tribal or something what's that all about? but then Mika starts singing & i had to force myself to notice the music. it's not usually the style of music i'd listen to, but i think Mika has a voice that goes well with pretty much any style.

My frikking biology teacher who declines to teach us anything yet expects us to get 100% in everything and gets all self-righteous and degrading when he hands us back papers which we have failed and ignores the fact that he sets us work which we haven't learnt and we just sit there in silence until he reads out the answers and gets annoyed when we leave questions blank and expects us to self-teach because we are 'independent learners' but we are like 'noooo it's your job!' and blaaarghhhh..
