  1. I'd realy like to know her daughters 's opinions about the song ( Charlotte Gainsbourg and Lou Doillon )
  2. In this song's context , I think it's more an "I don't care" meaning Hum , not sure that we'd use this metaphore in a conversation , but I see what you mean . Kind of the "tiny love" video feelings I guess. My thought is that he's maybe refering to his early teens when he was not already that tall , and I remember some interviews when he said that he was a little bit fat (just like many teenagers btw......) . Then that explains that he didn't feel at ease in his blue jeans , not necessarely in terms of size , but maybe also if he sometimes tried to wear the same kind of clothes than any other boy but it was not his true himself ....
  3. Due to lack of holiday, I had to make a choice between Berlin and Dublin...... So, I've got a spare ticket for Berlin. It's a "physical" one so don't ask me too late . I still don't know if I'll be able to go or not I'll probably know at the end of february, If I can't ,I'll contact you .
  4. The fact that the yellow suit seems to be in plastic made me think that they are trying to replace it with a more recyclable substance (seems to be "papier maché" ) because..... "plastic is not fantastic" ( Statement that only French speaking people can understand and refering to this song that has nothing to do whith ecology ..... ) Back to the AC video .... The fact that he's not totaly covered by the white stuff may mean that it's too late or impossible to be 100% plastic free Another idea was that it could be plaster and could explain that part of his neck is covered too . ....trying to repair his body I see it as kind of a bunker where each character takes what he thinks may help him to face the apocalypse ..........but at the end it didn't work because making love was the solution and none of them didn't realise in time
  5. Do you mean this kind of statement ? Anyway , don't worry , i'm not that sensitive ......and most of all , anything that I say is never 100% important nor serious
  6. I'd rather imagine it as the opening song after an "apocalyptic" intro . (kind of the rocket explosion of the Imaginarium tour ) And then a big party
  7. Ah ah .....good opportunity to watch the match live gratis Yeah so much work for only 5 minutes is a bit frustrating That's why I'd prefer to have the show after the match If someone is interested.....South Africa won by 1 points (like 1/4 final and 1/2 final against France and England )
  8. That's not very surprising. This is a major sport event , they want to talk about the match . The show was great , but tbh , I'd find more logical to ask him to sing the hymns with the kids . Or an aftershow like he did after the top 14 final. Btw , apart myself who is watching the whole match ?
  9. They are less strict for pre recording sessions and the studio is not at the same place (even more sinister area , especialy at night ) But it's still very long ! Especially what they call "aplause sessions" without the coaches , just Nikos recording sentences for the after show ......long , boring .....
  10. @Hero There are hostesses who take small groups of people to their seats. Sometimes it's possible to negociate the area you want to go , sometimes it's not Last time I went there ,If they were taking us to some stairs we were seated in the main stand behind the coaches seats. Otherwise the "floor" way was to smaller stands aside . Note that once you've got a place they still can ask you to move if some area are not as full as they want or any other reasons I think you'd better find and queue withs fans who know the place and process . I'm not going to any of the first recordings but I'm quite sure Nina will be there along with the Parisian French girls. As @mellody said you have to leave all your belongings at the cloakroom because there is a security searching . You'll have to wait quite a lot outside after the cloakroom , so you can take a sweater and use it as a cushion once you're inside .From what I remembered , you can't take your own beverage but they give some water at some point. You can have a (not so good) sandwich but you're supposed to finish it before they start to film .But some small snaks are ok if you don't make noise with the papers There are some toilets breaks but you have to be quick .( for the live recordings it's not allowed ) . You have toilets at the entry , you'd better go before the recording . About the dress code they encourage colourfull clothes , but no stripes and no big logos
  11. Take a look at this song, and the lyrics...... He's useing the same words as Mika in Apocalypse Calypso. And many others that could be disgusting if used with bad intent or vulgarity. But this guy who wrote songs called "Le zizi" or "Le cul de Lucette" and many others is considered a naughty erotic poet in France. Pierre Perret — Wikipédia (wikipedia.org) Paroles Le Vieux Marin par Pierre Perret - Paroles.net (lyrics)
  12. Now that we've got the lyrics , it's time to debate about all the small video details (and meanings of course ......) . That's made me smile because in French "avoir le feu aux fesses" means having lot of sex The second meaning is being in a hurry . In this video , it could me a combination of both
  13. The post apocalypse bal remembers me the nightmare and skeletton sequences of the "imaginarium tour" Mika said several times that he likes dark things , and I'm sure the shows will be awesome
  14. Be ready for "sweety banana" .......the title may be a perfect combo of his 2 passions ! Well , as I said a few hours ago , the more I'm listening to the song , the more I'm earing " une bulle en baisse" instead of "une bulle , on baise" Not that I'm chocked by the second option because he says it very softly , nothing to do with the way some singers do , and you know that there is a vulgar intention behind . Btw , I think that many French fans love the song , probably because we get this difference more easily than no French speaking's people That said , back to "une bulle en baisse" . Of course it could be Mika's accent that is confusing us .( I suspect him to do it on purpose to get all streaming we'll need to try to understand ........ ) There are a lot of different kind of "s" "z" sounds in this song , it's probably very hard for him . At least to be an acceptable option it has to have a meaning and maybe a connection with the beginning of the verse " on brule la braise" . That's why I was thinking about a reference to a Galileo thermometer . What's a Galileo thermometer and how do you read it? (zmescience.com) Maybe it's just the ecologist in me who is speaking and it's a totaly fool idea but look .....the thermometer has bubbles and you know the temperature while looking which ones are floating and on what level (up or down) . You don't have to care about the ones that sink , then maybe he's saying that the acceptable temperature's buble are sinking and that's what temperature it's so hot and unleash the apocalypse. "quoi qu'ils en pensent des conséquences" can describe climato sceptic persons. "le ciel à flots" could be storms It also caught my attention that he talks about "LE calypso" ( the danse) but there is also "Ou est LA Calypso ?" Why LA Calypso ? Firstable it could be the sea nymph who is missing because the oceans are too hot. I also remembered that in the 80/90 years "La calypso" was a very well known boat used by a very well known oceograph who did ecological documentaries So maybe he's saying that this is missing too ...... Jacques-Yves Cousteau — Wikipédia (wikipedia.org) Of course , I know it's very much farfetched ........but as it crossed my mind and as some of you find the lyrics too much understandable I'm just here to add some more confusion........sorry about that About the LGBTQ+ interpretations I think that "on s'embrasse dans les flammes" may represent the hell where some people woud like to send them in
  15. mikascomfort on ig is selling 2 tickets for Dublin.
  16. The more I'm listening to the song , the more I wonder if Anne may be right with "une bulle en baisse" I'll explain my theory later when I'll be beck from tennis
  17. The place where WE place the ponctuation reveals what WE have in mind .....
  18. Oh , I still had no time to listen a second time , but I remember that he explained that his logo's form is kinda bubble that will evolve and change with time depending on songs .
