  1. I'm really looking forward to a 2 hour gig after my last live experience being his short Hyde Park set
  2. When I emailed the theatre with an accessibility query at the end of August they said "We are unsure how the evening will run or even the start time. We do know we will open doors at 7pm." They might know more now though if you tried contacting them. They replied to my email very promptly so that might be the best method of getting in touch with them. I think I found their email address on the theatre website.
  3. An yes, you're probably right about different singles in different countries
  4. ^ Thank you for helping me to share that in the right place They said on Radio 2 that it's Mika's new single but I assumed that his next single would be Staring At The Sun because he made a video for it. Can anyone clarify?
  5. I wasn't sure where to post this so apologies if it's in the wrong section & feel free to move it if necessary. All She Wants is on BBC Radio 2's B playlist this week so they seem to be playing it regularly. Great publicity for Mika
  6. I've just been in touch with the theatre with an access enquiry & I received a very helpful email back within 10 minutes, I'm very impressed! They don't currently know the start time of the gig or how the evening will run but they will open the doors at 7pm.
  7. Great idea Deb but unfortunately I don't think I'm going to be well enough to join you all before the concert this time. I'm really hoping I'll be able to make it to the gig itself though.
  8. Ah ok, that should work fine then as Mika can always ask for more light if he wants/needs to. This is sounding very exciting
  9. I think Mika may struggle to see it all without the house lights on. I've been to a lot of concerts & frequently the artists say they can't really see the audience or can only see the front few rows. But I agree that having the house lights on would spoilt the atmosphere. I wonder if anyone at the theatre would be able to advise us further on what they'd expect Mika to be able to see from the stage. Perhaps there'd be a level of lighting between the standard concert lighting & having the house lights on that would work better for TAY but that might take some organising. If anything like this has been done in the past what happened with the lighting then?
  10. Will the cityscape be during Talk About You? That seems the obvious song but I know it's not a fan favourite.
  11. ^ Good point about row AA. That addition of the extra rows sounds really unfair for those of you who were organised enough to buy your tickets early. I'm glad your friend managed to get some good tickets like I did. And thank you for the kind words
  12. Thanks Mellody. I've attended a few Mika gigs but this will be the closest I've ever been. I'm very excited. It was a complete fluke that I got those tickets today - I just checked back on the venue website at about 11.30 & there they were. I couldn't believe it! When I'd looked at 9am (on Ticketmaster because the theatre website was down) I was offered row F. I'm also interested to see if that AA row actually materialises on the night!
  13. I got row A today. I did receive a warning that I might need to look up so I hope the stage isn't too high.
  14. I have no artistic ability at all but I love the idea & think if done well (which I'm sure it will be) it could look fantastic
  15. ^ And there are some in the front row of the dress circle available now.
  16. Thanks Deb. I'd spotted that thread but didn't want to risk spamming by posting the same message twice, especially as I'm new to these forums. I'll post there now though. I hope I can help a fellow Mika fan out.
  17. I have two extra tickets which are a good position in the stalls. They're going spare because I managed to get better ones today. PM me if you're interested, I'm just looking for face value for them.
