  1. Ciao Valentina, welcome to the MFC! I'm Sara, nice to meet you :D

The Forums helped me a lot to improve my English, as well as chatting with non-Italian fans! I'm sure it will be helpful for you, too. When you need to learn or improve something in order to talk about a passion you have, it's easier ^_^ in the meantime, if you also want to speak Italian with MFCers, here's the Italian thread:

Are you going to the Ancona gig? :wub2:

I didn't see the other version on my ap by the way....they must know it wouldn't make sense it France 😎 :floor:

Me neither, actually! I wonder what is it based on? Since each country has its own Spotify, for example, is it up to each company to add (or not) the censored version?

I hate this, it doesn't make sense to me if they don't replace the word at least, it's the same with the song IDGAF by Dua Lipa, sometimes I hear the clean version on the radio and the chorus goes just "I don't give a ...", it's so weird, especially when the song is called IDGAF. :naughty: The same with Beautiful Trauma by Pink, they just removed the swear words in the clean version and the gaps in the lyrics sound so strange. And then they play songs like Whistle by Florida which is really disgusting but no one cares.

    :yeah:

It really doesn't make sense! I'm all against censored songs. You can change the word, if you really have to, but erase the whole thing? I don't think people would be shocked by a word they hear and use all the time, to begin with. And, as you say, what about songs with contestable messages? I mean, I'm not an expert of how radios work, but it's pretty ridiculous to me - mostly when there's a beautiful meaning behind what he's saying :dunno:

I see there's two versions of Tomorrow online, the explicit and the censored one, I suppose we won't get to hear this song on radios too often...

That's too bad :( where did you find the censored version?

  10. I found the IG Stories! (credits to: wanna_talk_about_you_ on Instagram)

"I Went To Hell Last Night talks about a person I know very well, who has addiction problems. One day, there was a relapse. I was there and I had to stay there for some days. As you probably know, when there's a serious relapse, you go to hell and you see hell. You see someone you love, or you know very well, and then they become devilish. You must not get angry, stay there long enough to get out of this situation. In the moment you're living this, the only thing that could give you the smallest chance to stay is this idea that even in the dark, in this devilish moment, there's still a molecule, a fragment of God, which is in me and it's also in the other person, that gives you the impression that it's worth it if you keep going to get out of the situation."

  11. In the press conference in Milan he said that it's about the addiction of a friend of his, who had a relapse. He wrote this song to explain the pain and the darkness of this situation, both for the person and for those around them, writing that God is in everything to stress out the fact that we still can find light in the hardest things. With this story in mind, "is that why you let the devil in?" makes total sense. Unfortunately I'm not quoting him, I can't find the stories anywhere, but it's more or less what he meant. I'm gonna try to look for them tomorrow, so at least I can give you a proper translation!
