    New album Mika next year 2019

    Everything we know at the moment comes from his Instagram videos! A few months ago, he talked about the album in a French interview, saying it will be out in 2019, followed by a tour. Here's the link with subtitles, in case you missed it :)

    Since Mika talked about Sara last night at The Voice, I thought the ones of you who don't know about her could be interested in discovering more about her work! Her voice is as incredible as it sounds in her records, plus she's an amazing (and underrated) songwriter. A few videos for you! :)

    According to this tweet and as @carafon said, there's still one audition, 4 KO and 2 battles, so the live shows should start on May 18th!

    You're right :naughty: but according to what I found online the photographer's name should be Julian Broad, I was hoping this keyword could lead me to some result, knowing the thread, but it didn't! I'll wait and see if someone remembers :)

    Right!? Tom Ellis is magnificent for this role, I think his accent plays a huge part in how the character is perceived, so charming, almost hypnotizing. Keep us posted :biggrin2:

    @giraffeandy here it is! He talks about Good Guys, the radio and the record company from minute 2:30

    I also remember something else about this radio-record company thing, but I wouldn't know where to look for it. Approximately, he wanted to release Good Guys as a single and his record company told him something like "the radio won't play it", but he didn't care and went ahead with his idea.

    I kinda discovered Troye thanks to the Bloom video, which I found very bold. Even tho I knew him because of his YouTube channel, I had never really watched anything, so after that I got curious and decided to check out his music - I have to say I really like it. I agree with you about his lyrics and videos being quite explicit, which is good, that's what the world needs. And I also agree with what he's saying, maybe that same world that needs that kind of content isn't fully ready for it... yet. Maybe what it takes is little steps, it's raising awareness through what we have, and music is honestly one of the means which can have a bigger impact on people, so he's actually doing a great job. So is Mika. If I do remember well, there's an interview about Good Guys where he said something interesting related to this. Let me check!

    Il frétille d'impatience ! Alors que démarre samedi sur TF1 la huitième saison de The Voice, le coach Mika est dans tous ses états.

    « C'est ma sixième année dans le fauteuil rouge. Maintenant, je suis le boss ! »

     

    Mika ne change pas. Depuis plus de cinq ans qu'il est installé dans le fauteuil rouge des coachs de The Voice, le chanteur n'a pas pris, ni la grosse tête, ni la poudre d'escampette. « The Voice, c'est un rendez-vous. Le public l'attend. Nous aussi » nous glisse-t-il, ravi.

    Ravi aussi de ses nouveaux camarades de jeu : Jenifer (qui revient après trois ans d'absence), Soprano (promu de la version Kids) et Julien Clerc (le néophyte).

    Porte-bonheur.

    Pour toutes les phases d'audition à l'aveugle, c'est sa maman, Joannie, qui a dessiné sa veste, choisi le tissu, fait tailler et coudre sur mesure.

    Au top de l'élégance, Mika est prêt à en découdre avec les autres coachs, pour réunir les meilleurs talents et les mener le plus loin possible dans l'aventure. Début des festivités, samedi soir sur TF1…

    He wriggles with impatience! As TF1 starts the eighth season of The Voice on Saturday, coach Mika is in a state of disarray.

    "This is my sixth year in the red chair. Now, I am the boss! "

    Mika does not change. For more than five years now, he has been sitting in the Red Chair of The Voice coaches, and the singer has not taken either the big head or the powder. "The Voice is an appointment. The public is waiting for it. We too, "he slips, delighted.

    Also delighted by his new playmates: Jenifer (who returns after three years of absence), Soprano (promoted from the Kids version) and Julien Clerc (the neophyte).

    Lucky charm. For all phases of blind audition, it was his mom, Joannie, who designed his jackets, chose the fabric, cut and sew to measure.
