    Hello!
we were organizing for the distribution of the sheets. We need people who have tickets in the stands and want to help us. Below you can see the mockup of the final result. If anyone is sitting in those blocks, or knows someone who will be sitting there, please contact me!

    Wow Serena! It's amazing 😍

Unfortunately I don't know people sitting up there and apparently we are not allowed to move from the stalls to those blocks. Any chance for us to get the permission to move to the blocks? I imagine that you've already contacted the venue.

No I can't. I won't wear a skirt at 10°C, and a nice top doesn't make much sense either if I have a jacket over it. Well, I'll plan that on Saturday when I pack, then the forecast will be more reliable.

No, a skirt +top is definitely not ideal for the evening🙄. There is a huge temperature gap between day and night

They should just set up some barriers in front of the stage, then it wouldn't be a problem if people run to the front.

However, we'll see how it is at the Mika gig. I'm glad that I still trust Mika more than ticketone or friendsandpartners. I wonder if the "disservice to his fans" really might have meant they wanted to put additional seats in the front at all the (big) venues and maybe wouldn't have allowed people to stand up at the theatres? Mika knows we wouldn't like that. Surely that can't be the only reason to cancel a whole tour, but maybe it was one point on a long list of things.

I am sure that the seating arrangement is decided by Friends&partners/ Venue. Mika didn't know about those seats. There were barriers but people yesterday were trying to approach the stage when most popular and 'bilions streaming' singers started to sing. So the security pushed them back

We will see, maybe Mika talked to the venue to remove barriers

:crybaby: I had some nice gig outfits planned for the Italian gigs, but this outdoor venue in combination with low temperatures will cancel my outfit plans as well. :emot-sad: Well, let's see, the forecast isn't reliable a week in advance, so maybe it'll be warmer. :crossed:

You can wear your nice outfit but I suggest you to bring a light jacket. I had a nice summer outfit yesterday and it was fine until 9 pm. Then it got cold. But I am sure that Mika will warm up the athmosphere making us dance🤣😏

It looks like VIP with how they are separated from the rest and someone (the person in orange) probably checking the tickets before they enter?

No, they didn't check the tickets. Those are security men who were in charge to push back crazy fans who during some performances were trying to approach the stage to get closer to their favorite singer.

And those people sitting in the buco d'orchestra were not Vip. They were normal people, maybe family&friends of someone working on the show

I am wondering as well about the weather. It's warmer at night than in Poland. Yesterday people were wearing short sleeves shirts.

But in one week it can change.

I have already a plastic raincoat prepared. And something warm to wear.

Yesterday it was a beautiful sunny day in Verona. About 27°. But in the evening it was chill, I think about 16/17°. I was freezing because I forgot my jacket in my car🙄😬

So we will need a light jacket and hopefully it won't rain!

After Mika's performance on Friday we were definitely Underwater 🤣 a storm began right afterwards.

Watching the TIM Music Awards last night I got the impression that the first 4 rows are at the same level as the original first row for which I and other fans have tickets. They are not lower. Never mind! Let’s just enjoy the concert 🎉♥️

Yesterday evening I was again at Tim Music Awards because I had tickets for both nights and I could see very well the blu seats in the buco d'orchestra. The guy next to me told me that those seats are always there, they are part of the seating arrangement of this venue. But he didn't know to whom they are reserved 🤔

Btw I took a picture before people arrived.

It was specifically for the fanclub, same as for Paris Philharmonie and most of the US gigs. So I'm sure this was initiated by Mika - surely not organized by him petsonally and maybe we were lucky that friendsandpartners have experience with it, but I'm sure it was Mika's wish to do this for his fans.

Btw, I read on Twitter that Mika has told fans in Paris that he took care of the Verona problems. So that gives hope that it's not just hidden but really gone. :thumb_yello:

ah ok, now I understood. I thought  it was the usual presale I experienced with other artists here in Italy...which begins 2 days before general sales.

and YES! I read the tweet by Camille! he tried to fix the whole thing and this is amazing:mikalove:

He will receive lots of love in Verona and this will be a memorable concert

He's supposed to be present at Tim awards as well (tonight or tomorrow, the organizers didn't say anything yet)

I have tickets for both nights so we'll see...

Update: Mika is tonight at Tim awards!

Maybe they'll first take a look how many seats they need to relocate and see if they manage without those extra seats. It wouldn't make sense to just take it off the map because they got angry e-mails, if it's there on the gig day the anger would just be postponed & not solved. And they surely don't want people to be extra pissed off at the gig?! Unless Mika's management plans something with those seats to give us better places, to make up for the cancellations. I doubt it tho.

It still surprises me that Mika didn't know about this. I assumed he can't change it because contracts allow them to do it, but if he organized a special fan presale for fans to be in the front and then they just ignore that and don't even tell him about it, that's weird. He does care about his fans, otherwise he wouldn't organize such a presale.

We will find out on the gig day if those orchestra seats have actually been removed, but many protest mails have been sent so I am optimistic. Btw, I realized that I have a very lateral first row so I won't have those people in front of me anyway because those orchestra seats are central. Concerning fan presale, I don't think this is something "special Mika organized", but it is a practice used for all gigs in Italy, which are thousands. There is always a presale and then general sales. The organizers (Friends&partners) know that most passionate fans want to see their artist closely so they invented this presale thing, which goes also their advantage because presale tickets cost more than the normal ones

Mika cares about his fans in other ways: stopping after gigs, signing autographs, smiling, talking to us, involving us in his new projects, showing us excitement when he's in the studio recording a new song:mikalove:

This Arena gig will be one the most impressive concerts in his career and we will be there to support him in every possible way, despite the sadness for the tour cancellation which is fading away day by day

I heard that fans asked Mika about the additional rows yesterday after the festival, and he didn't know about it. That's what I thought, dunno 'bout the cancellations but this definitely wasn't his decision. I'm curious whether he'll work with friendsandpartners again for the next tour, maybe it was all due to serious problems with them. In their T&C for the tickets, they wrote a lot of stuff like they could change places, put you somewhere else, add rows etc. - but I thought they'd only need to do that so if there's new Covid restrictons they could follow those rules without having to cancel the gigs. Maybe they wanted to use it to make more profit, and Mika wouldn't accept that? Well, whatever. I doubt he can change their decision to add more rows - if they can decide that without him even knowing about it, it's obviously not part of the contract that he has a say in it. So all we can hope is that he'll make up for it by going into the audience more often, especially to the place that used to be the frontrow.

    Good point.

Of course he didn't know about the front seats. This is not something he is involved in and he doesn't have to take care about it. Friends&partners (maybe  along with Mika's management -Giulio?) decided to add seats in the "buco d'orchestra", perhaps to switch first rows from other venues

They made a complete mess with tickets after cancellation especially because there was this switch thing. Concerning the causes of the cancellation, we will never know. And now I am starting to find peace and I was glad to see him smiling in his last IG story from France😌

Friends&partners organize huge tours for the major artists in Italy in Arenas and Stadiums (Mengoni, Cremonini, Elisa, Mahmood, Ultimo, etc) so I would be quite surprised if they didn't manage to organize Mika's tour💀 Btw, I hope he won't work with them anymore 🥺

It's true, I think the distance from the stage is the same, but if you have 4 rows of people in front of you, who might be taller than you, it's still a big difference to frontrow. I'm not short, but if I have a 2m person standing in front of me, that'd still block my view .

In that pic with the orchestra it looks like the area is lower, so it wouldn't be a problem - but if you look at this pic with seats, it looks like it's on the same level: (enlarge for details)

    37069323784_32de84d61b_k.jpg

Anyway, I have no energy anymore to be annoyed, it's all too much. Maybe Mika will come into the audience more often to make up for it, or maybe they're planning something with those seats so WE can have better places closer to the stage - I don't actually believe that myself, dunno how that would work, but glad there's still some positivity left in me, a bit of me that believes that it's not possible that EVERYTHING really is that bad. We'll see, I guess.

Edit: Or maybe we'll all just run to the stage anyway, no matter what the arena staff says about it? :insane:

I have the same attitude Karin. I am too tired and sad to get angry again. I don't feel like struggling in order to defend my first row because it would be too stressful and I am already stressed enough by my job😒

I'll try to have fun and enjoy the gig. I really want this gig to be unforgettable because 1) it's a venue that Mika has always dreamt 2) it's the first ( and maybe the last) Mika concert attended by both my parents who are extremely sorry about the mess that's happening around this tour.

Mika is not responsible for this orchestra pit seats. He doesn't care. He focuses on the artistic aspects

We could try to run to the stage 😏 but I've never seen fans standing outside their seat in this Arena. Security usually pushes people back to their seat. But we'll see!!

At Mika gigs everything is possible🤣

No, it’s crazy!!!!! Think the reason to cancel all these concerts is his busy planning…it’s not an acceptable reason, anyway I assume we could talk for hours and days and we couldn’t be able to find why He took this decision.

I think the communication from him and his management is not really good in general, but this time He took a big risk, because certain fans can forgive him but the public in general see this choice in a very bad way. I prefer believe there are very serious and good reason for that😅😓

I was wondering about his silence because I was getting a little bit worried🥲 but Karin understood that he's silent because he's busy. And she was right!

he just posted a story in the studio😌

Right?! Not even the Verona theatre, the day before the arena, sold out and literally just a few hundred meters away. That's why the only explanation that makes sense to me is that it must be because he can't get all of his work finished in time if he does this tour - especially the soundtrack, that can't be postponed. It even would explain his absence. I'll keep to that theory, until I find a better one, or he tells us the truth.

Yes. I guess the soundtrack has a specific deadline and apparently he also accepted this job in the UK, which is great! But he has a lot of stuff to do 🥲

I hope that he will talk to us. This silence is making me worried about him🥺

Did you pay the tickets with a voucher? They say they will use the same way to return the money that was used for payment (if possible, otherwise the IBAN they ask for). To me they offered a money refund.

That would be economic reasons, not logistic ones. And the theatres were nearly sold out, he wouldn't have needed a bunch of big trucks for the set, etc., so if it was for money (or bad ticket sales at the arenas), it makes no sense to me why he couldn't have kept the theatre gigs and just cancelled the big shows.

I agree Karin. In Italy 98% of our singers have been touring for the entire summer all over the country. Mengoni and Cremonini have also planned many Arenas (most of them sold out) and Stadiums with big logistics and production shows.

So Mika found logistics and the production for Arena di Verona (one of the most expensive venue here) and couldn't find the way to make small theatres? That's strange

Maybe the tour, as he had conceived it at the beginning, wasn't ready on time and he decided to concentrate on just one venue. The most prestigious one

Btw, the causes of this cancellation are not clear because his team made a very generic communication and Mika himself disappeared. Which is the saddest thing. I hope he will find the strength to afford all this.

An Italian fan contacted me on Instagram about a fanaction with papers, seems they want to do something similar to the heart in Carcassonne, with red and white A4 sheets. They lost some helpers due to the cancellations, would some of you be interested in helping, with the distribution and maybe also with adding a few € to the paper costs? I think it'd be a nice gesture to do this fanaction, to show some love and feel some more love again despite the disappointment (at least that's my motivation). @Prisca @holdingyourdrink @Anna Ko Kolkowska @Beatrixxx_always @pascale_geneva and anyone else who feels motivated? We'd just have to enter when the doors open, to get it all done in time.

Edit: Ofc we also want to make sure we can take the papers inside without a chaos like it was in Bercy 2019.

Hi Karin, I agree with making a fan action and will help you if I can. This show will have to be unique in Mika's memory

But I will come with my parents so I don't know my actual arrival time. My dad is always late😅 They were supposed to come to the Theatre and were very sad about the cancellation (especially my mom) so I bought 2 more tickets for Arena di Verona✌

Yes, I have the same message for one of two tickets for Verona theatre. The first one passed correctly. But as I couldn't add the second one I sent the request just for one.

Then I wanted to make another request for the second ticket I have this information that this concert is not refunded. SO for sure an issue with the system.

    I will try again tomorrow.

    Now it's working again 👌

I entered all my requests for refunds. 9 gigs

    I feel: EMPTY

I just wanted to verify this -- I have spoken to Mika's management, and there are only the two options:

    1. Get a refund.

    2. "Convert" your ticket to go to the Verona show.

They don't know when they will be able to reschedule this tour, and they don't know whether they will be at the same venues, so there is no point in keeping the original tickets. If you can't go to Verona, get your money back.

I'll update my instructions above and I'm going to post them to our social media.

Thank you all for helping each other out with this. Please, if you see anyone else who is struggling, send them this way.

@dcdebas usual your help is so precious!

    Thanks 🌹
