Just watched it all, that was fantastic!!  Great talents, good format, and the coaches have great rapport. I think the coaches group song was one of the best I've heard on The Voice, real synergy and energy coming through! Oh, I can't wait for next week, I'm going to watch it again!

Pretty much. He wrote music for the original production of the film, but then one of the producers ended up not being involved (left? Fired? Who knows) so the project changed direction under the new/remaining producers.

I was in the supermarket near Christmas a few years ago, and they had a load of big screen televisions on sale with a big display near the entrance, each one playing a looped reel of various movies. One screen's reel included Circle of Life. I started getting teary so sped past it, did some shopping further in the store out of earshot, then needed to go back for things near the screens. Yes, it was playing that clip again. I bounced back out of earshot for a bit, thought it must be clear now, and went back for my last few items. Rounded the corner into earshot and noooooo, whyyyy??? Spent the next few minutes bobbing in and out like a yoyo trying to avoid a public meltdown just to get my shopping done...

It would be nice, but if so, I hope they have more chance to organize it properly with security this time. Last time we got conflicting info so it was a bit of a confusing mess, which contributed to some people panicking about being front row to meet him, shoving, crowding, and generally behaving in a not very nice way. If I see similar this time, I'm going to call it out - whoever happens to be there. It's selfish, and it spoils it for other people. I haven't forgotten the old lady in the wheelchair who was hurt in the crush. Accidental, yes, but also completely avoidable. 

Oh, and if he decides to meet the performers and other presenters in the social bar afterwards, for the love of god please don't go chasing after him like a pack of wild animals. That's his downtime. He's off duty. Leave him be. If he wants to engage in that setting, he'll come to us.  It's more respectful to give him the option, rather than impose.  

Sorry, I've obviously still got some bad residual feelings from last time. But I am actually really looking forward to this! And yes, a M&G would be fantastic.  But be aware it might not happen, don't get your hopes up to be disappointed.

It was a last minute organized meet. As in, we were already sat in the theatre when we heard he'd agreed! 

Gifts, yes I think some people passed over gift bags at the M&G. And Deb had the yearbook for him.

Oh yes! I think anyone singing a Mika dong well would have their support. I didn't mean this guy in particular, just the general overview of the ones they've shown and backdropped so far. 

They seem to be showcasing the more theatrical singers. Vocal gymnastics over heart and feeling.

Bought a couple of large artificial peonies in the supermarket, on special offer for clearance. I'm thinking, trim the stems, and use a lot of large safety pins to keep in place.
