    If anyone is interested, the European Youth Choir Festival is taking place now. I was out all day yesterday singing. We had a lunch concert in one of Basel`s many churches. To be honest, most songs we sing don`t work well with church accostics but it was fun anyways. We did get outshined by some of the more formal choirs, though. Since Basel is on the Rhine river we went on a boat trip with about six other choirs. The only purpose was to sing while floating up and down the river, past the city. I then became a temporary member of the Irish Youth Choir when they started singing sea shanties (I love sea shanties and can`t help but join along...). All in all a fantastic day! Today we will have an even fuller programme than yesterday, so I probably won`t be on here as much, unfortunately.

    I am a very impatient person, and therefore am asking: Does anyone know if Mika is planning anymore gigs in Switzerland this year (or next year, if people already have information on that)? Maybe gigs that don`t take place in the middle (almost) nowhere? Since it`s become pretty certain that I won`t make it to Sion this year, I keep gloomily wondering about it. I am not really in a postion to travel far, so Swiss gigs will have to suffice. Even theories will do at this point!

    Exciting...! I love the sound so much, so bright and warm. It reminds me of Sanremo, but maybe that`s just me.
