In my second one I mentioned the Big Girl, You are Beautiful song and video and what an inspiration Mika's music has been to so many people. One of his messages is to be happy with yourself and in your own skin, to respect yourself and others. Mika's music is very inspiring and I think Oprah would like that. Whatever the end result of this may or may not be, I am glad we are going down this path. I'm 35 years old and have never been starstruck in all my life until I discovered MIKA! I am one of thousands of people who have recently discovered the phenomenon of the next big thing! I will guarantee you that if you only take a few moments to listen to his album and find even a portion of his interviews that you will want to know more. I have (met?) women online, like myself, mothers, who are on his unofficial MIKA Fan Club forum everyday and chat about MIKA. My husband and kids do not know what has happened to mommy who is suddenly obsessed by a young 23 yr old sensation (ha ha). I'm the biggest fan, and I'm sure you receive letters like this all the time from women who are obsessed by some hot new talent, so I may not be able to convince you yet how different this is from the rest, but at least I tried. Oh yes! I am from a suburb of Toronto, Canada and I made my husband drive me to CHICAGO last month (9 hours almost!)for my birthday just to watch a MIKA concert in your city at the METRO. Give them a call and ask them who made up the majority of the lineup for the concert (they will tell you - Mothers and their kids!) next to young teenagers!
