and btw. You'll gotta read "Freddie Mercury - His life in his own words" Its GREAT!!! Ive only read a lil more than 100 pages so far today and GOD i love it!

 

Somebody gave me that book but in german and I only read about 10 pages.. but it's so weird cos I know the quotes and all in english and just don't like it in german :aah:

Actually, I wanted to recommend 'Queen As It Began' , the official biography of the band. This book had the sign off by the remaining of the band in 1992 when it was published and was co-written by the person who runs the official International Queen Fanclub.

Most of the other books that came out on Queen and especially on Freddie are not the most reliable source of information.

A book with quotes sounds fun - I think I have that, too - but you have to remember that those quotes are taken out of context and perhaps it is much more enjoyable to listen to the interviews in full... :wink2: (I have a lot of them on tapes but I think now you can find most of them on Youtube, even radio interviews)

Me and a friend of mine had a lil chat last night about a lil Queen Party we will make in London or Liverpool. We donno when. But if you are up for it plz tell...??? The only thing you have to do is to dress up as one of the members. Can be anything.... hair, some "look alike" cloth they have used in a music vid or show...

Wait a min. I know the thingy with Paul has left. But what about the thingy with a possible new singer????? (Adam Lambert) I havent heard anything with its 120% fin. with Queen and they are not "seaching" for a new singer. Do you have the article with that?
