ängi Posted January 9, 2011 Share Posted January 9, 2011 There are several types of flute but I think you mean the Western Concert flute (metal, blown on the side) and the recorder / English flute (blown at the end and usually wooden but not necessarily so) as the two major types.They often use it in music teaching. Probably in the Baltics, too I can play the recorder, too it is really easy. It was even compulsory for us from age 6 to 10.
