And as i am incharge in the childen evangelism,

i think i will ask (force XD) them singing Mika's song.

A group of childen shouting "We are golden!"...must be a nice picture!

but how about asking 'em saying you are golden or mika is golden?

'cos he's already hving we are golden in his album

A IKEA-catalogue-like magazine/ book

- As MIKA is a fan of IKEA, & seems MIKA like reading books made by his fans, we're gonna combine IKEA & MIKA (turns MIKEA?)

this book will be different from the mfc year book, we'll fill it wit ANYTHING u can think of!!

 

So I've organised the existing columns in the mikea mag (:

we'll add or make amendments after the product's come out, we hope to give the best thing to him (L)

 

Title:

 

(it aint exactly the same as the original IKEA logo but i do think they look alike )

 

MIKEA! MIKEA! MIKEA!

 

 

Size: 190mm x 225mm (it's similar to the actual size of a IKEA catalogue )

 

Contents:

1) Design sth for MIKA

- design a table/ a desk/ a chair/ a house/ a creature/ pair of scissors/ whatever u like for mika =D

2) My IKEA (or any) chair/ furniture pick for MIKA

3) Story Marathon

- One of us write few sentences to begin a story, then the other one continues. We prefer a silly but fun story at the end =P

4) Music sharing to mika

- share ur fave songs/ cds to mika

5) Where is MIKA?

- prepare a photo/ picture/ collage which contains mika/ or his products, it's kind of where is wally game for him!!

6) My Interpretation

- Translate 1-2 of his songs to chinese, this looks like a chinese learning column. by the time & over my shoulder seem to be better ones.

-A chinese learning corner!

7) MIKA's paper closet

- each of us pick a photo/pic of him/ anything representing him, & several pics of good outfits. then stick 'em together & make several styling suggestions.

8) Food corner

- tell mika what food he should try in hk!

9) words/ sketches/ scribbles/ drawings of whatever/ whenever comes to ur mind, which is related to/ inspired by mika

10) On MIKA's face

- hmm most of us must hv done naughty things like adding scars or makeups etc on magazine/ newspaper ads photos, let's try it on mika's face this time

11) @mikasounds

-we start a discussion bout mika, but in a twittering way. as MIKA is a kinda active twitter user (tho he isn't one when he's on holidays recently )

- or tweet mika

12) A/Several page(s) from my diary/ sketch book (before knowing mika)

-sometimes i think we've talked about MIKA too much, maybe we/ MIKA need a break! it might be challenging if we include a section that, contains our writing/ thoughts/ artwork/ scribbles without mentioning MIKA, in a fan-made mika book!!

so our e.g sentence will be 米卡十一月二十六日來了香港 (mika came to hong kong on 26th Nov), 米卡最喜歡的顏色是粉紅色 (mika's favourite color is pink) etc

we're starting a project for mika here, kinda preparation for his nxt hk gig (altho we dunno when will it be )

we dun limit the participants but the products are supposed to give him when he come nxt time! (;

I have another one to add to the list! We are hoping to get the MFC guidelines translated into the common languages of MFC, and the Chinese thread seems to be very popular these days, so can some of you get together and translate the guidelines for us please?

Yesterday I asked the Korean fans, and I already got the translated and proofread guidelines today!! So let's have some in Chinese...we might need both traditional and simplified characters? I guess for some of us non-Chinese speakers we would say Cantonese and Mandarin...it's probably completely incorrect to use those phrases now...

Obviously Mika likes music XD So we will be giving Mika a handmade CD complete with front and back covers, lyrics booklet etc. But it's not just any CD, we'll try to make it as unique to hong kong MFCers as possible! Anyone and everyone can participate, this is a group project! All recordings need to be of good quality because we're trying to make this as professional as possible. ^-^;

We don't have a title right now XD does anybody have any ideas? ^-^;

 

Submissions

You can basically submit any/every type of music you want Except for copyrighted songs. Everything on this CD has to be performed by HK MFCers! Here are some ideas of what you can submit:

 

1) Covers of Mika's songs - in English or Chinese. Doesn't matter if you are playing an instrument or just singing, it doesn't matter if you sing part of a song or the whole song.

 

2) You are golden - you don't have to be musically talented! Just record yourself saying "You are golden!" or "Mika is golden!" or something like that.

 

3) 我爱你! - record yourself saying "我爱你" or "我爱米卡" or something like that. Cantonese or mandarin is fine

 

4) Audio message to Mika - I'm still not sure about the details of this section rofl

 

5) Songs inspired by or about Mika - also not sure about this section yet, because if you submit your own original material that you wrote, you might have to get it copyrighted or something? I'm not suuuuure.

 

6) Spoken parts - e.g. You can just submit yourself shouting "We are not what you think we are, we are golden, we are golden!" or you can just submit a recording of you clapping like in BIOTG or something else. This means you don't have to be good at music to submit a cover!

i do think deadlines are necessary but since we've got lotta things included in the entire project, maybe it'll be better if we separate the whole thing into several parts, & set several deadlines for those parts respectively!

Thanks for offering to help. It will be great to have the major Asian languages covered on MFC. Help make us more international on google too, and then maybe we will get more Asian Mika fans...although I heard google was considering pulling out of China....

i really like this idea.

we have discussed the idea of finger dolls before.

I hv decided to Make those characters into finger dolls.

So is it possible to use them to make a skit?

i do think deadlines are necessary but since we've got lotta things included in the entire project, maybe it'll be better if we separate the whole thing into several parts, & set several deadlines for those parts respectively!

 

we'll finish them part by part, step by step (:

 

I agree, I think separate deadlines would be better Espeically for the magazine, then if we can't finish the whole things the other parts will still be complete But it all depends on Mika I'm scared he'll announce his Asian tour last minute

 

For the radio play part,

i really like this idea.

we have discussed the idea of finger dolls before.

I hv decided to Make those characters into finger dolls.

So is it possible to use them to make a skit?

 

I love the idea of a finger puppet play! but we would have to put that on a dvd right?

 

If we're going to be using film we might as well make the CD into a CD+DVD? Then we could do a skit with his characters + other filmed parts? I'm not sure, I don't know much about film

- hmm most of us must hv done naughty things like adding scars or makeups etc on magazine/ newspaper ads photos, let's try it on mika's face this time

- we've been talkin bout it for long, so pls submit a photo of urself holding a big word card

we're gonna make "♥____ (your name) ♥MIKA" first.

we'll try this first & if it works we'll try different versions later, then choose the best one at the end!

 

hmm i'm guessing if he is REALLY coming this year, it might be near the dates of jpn/ aus/ kr gigs.

i saw him saying he'll be back to korea this summer.

maybe it can be a reference (:

Haha okay so the main parts are the magazine, CD, patchwork (+clothing? ) aaand a DVD sort of thing on the waiting list. rofl?

 

i think the finger puppets thing is cute so that could still be included separately (so that Mika can play with them in his own time? :roftl:), and we'd have a radio play on the CD?

 

it all depends on when Mika comes back to HK... hopefully we will have time to work on the DVD.

 

but anyway for the radio play we would need voices for :

- lollipop girl

- big girl

- billy brown

- mrs. brown/billy brown's kids/billy brown's dog

- dr. john

- one foot boy(?)

- toy boy(?)

- four mubbins (mubbina, drinky, narco, astor)

- good gone girl
