Are we going to do the Mark Butler VIP hospitality packages too?

 

He's doing Tina Turner at 02 in March 2009...for GBP 435. Inculdes, dinner, fancy tickets and fancy programs and stuff.

 

 

I'm only joking of course, but the link was on the URL FD posted.

I'd love it to be just for MFC, but could we really fill up the place? I mean, we've got enough members, but not everyone will be able to go.

On the other hand, reserving the front rows for MFC is fine with me.

Which is most important for us, RAH or a show just for the MFC?

Ok, so please, no fainting, this is not reality (not yet anyway), but I was thinking today how fantastic it would be if Mika did an intimate, acoustic gig at the Royal Albert Hall?

 

I'd be there like a shot...Such a great place, and it would totally have the right atmosphere for one of his "unplugged" style shows, like what he did at the London Eye Fiat gig.

 

I enjoyed that show SO much, it was amazing to hear him with Mikey and Martin and playing a real piano for once with no added "extras", that I'd just love it if he did this.

And what better place than the RAH?

 

So, if you read this Mika: go and organise it:roftl:, and please make it soon!!

I’d freak out and sell my kidney to be able to go! A gig like that you just can’t miss. But it’s ok for me if he waits a while so my economy, after the last Londontrip, will have time to recover.

This is just talk so far. Ideas being thrown around. If you are going to one of the upcoming gigs in summer, you might want to visit the T shirt thread to find out what some people are doing to promote THE IDEA of a concert at RAH. It is up to the Big M himself to decide if he will do RAH or not.

 

The convention is a separate idea on another thread.

The charity concert was just referring to something that happens each year at the RAH where different bands play. It was an idea to see if he would be involved in that.

 

All just ideas, so don't feel lost:wink2:
