It was cool 'cause when we were waiting in the queue (20 people or so..) Richard came out to say hi to everyone and he was super sweet. Aw. And then early in the morning when there were just 3 of us, we saw Tom jogging in a bright red and blue outfit, about 4 feet from us. It was great. The two opening acts, Fran Healy and Ingrid Michaelson, weren't exactly my cup of tea, but they were really funny so I didn't mind waiting through their sets. Then Keane came out and all of my aches and pains went away. Tom wore a short-sleeved polo shirt with black pants. If you're a big Keane fan, you'll know that Tom used to never wear short-sleeve shirts in public, so that was pretty exciting. His voice was absolutely incredible! I'd seen them a year before at the Palladium which is where Mika played (I don't like that venue!) but seeing Keane this time around felt like the first. The sound was just so crisp and they were all on top form. I think my favorite song of the night would have to be "Crystal Ball." It was the last song of the night and totally epic . Your love is particular ! But I think the 3 first albums, I hear them and then, I love all the songs, nearly instantally , but this one, it's different, I have to hear much more, but it's clear I like it, too!!!
